I couldn't believe I had gotten myself into this mess. I was up on the roof dangling trying to get away from the walkers. They just came in so fast I didn't have time to think of a plan to get away. Those things just broke through the glass, I was panicking I just ran.

I don't do well under pressure I usually plan out everything but I didn't expect this to happen at all. Tears were streaming down my face I was about to die since my grip was loosening, I was scared I wanted to just close my eyes and hide. I wish Negan were here to rescue me.

I heard gunshots in the distance and the sound of walkers dropping. I could hear the faint grunting noises of a man hitting something against the walkers. Was I about to be saved? Or will I fall to my death cause my arms are about to give out and I'm about to just accept my fate. Tears streaming I looked up into the blue sky "Goodbye" I faintly whispered as I let go.

               NEGAN'S POINT OF VIEW

I was desperately trying to get to Rose I don't know how long she's been holding on for and I don't know how much longer she could just dangle. I was beyond scared for her I just wanted her safe in my arms. I shut the emergency doors of the grocery store to block off more walkers from coming in.

I began beating the shit out of the ones left in the store trying to get up the stairs to the roof. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY" I kept screaming. Bashing the hell out of their heads with all my might leaving a bloody trail of dead corpses with bashed in heads. I just couldn't stop killing them I was angry and frustrated I was taking it all out on them.

Finally on the roof I heard her whisper I screamed for her "NOO" and ran to the ledge grabbing her arm as she was beginning to fall. She was passed out I was trying to hold her arm while having walkers surround me. "Oh fucking hell what have you gotten me into" I took out my gun with my free hand and began shooting while also trying to pull her up.

But my gun quickly ran out of bullets "SHIT SHIT SHIT NOO" I screamed. I looked down at her, if I let her go I could at least get out of here alive. Looking at her face I just couldn't do it just that thought brought tears to my eyes. "ROSE PLEASE WAKE UP" I shook her, my arm was getting tired "ROSE PLEASE I DONT WANT TO DROP YOU"

I was at this point panicking the walkers were closing in and I just couldn't pull her up, I was a bit weak from taking my anger out on all those walkers. I looked back down at her, their was only one thing I could do at this point. I really didn't want to do it but I had no other choice.

I jumped off the building holding her in my arms so she wouldn't get hurt on the landing. This was gonna hurt like hell but at least she would be safe. I closed my eyes feeling myself just fall was peaceful, time seemed to slow down, I prayed that I would be somewhat ok if I landed correctly. I soon felt the ground, pain overwhelming me, my senses faded, my mind went black.

               ROSE'S POINT OF VIEW

I felt my body falling but someone was holding my arm but I just wasn't there, everything seemed like a daze and soon enough I heard him screaming at me. I just couldn't focus on what he was saying it was all gibberish, soon I felt myself actually falling while someone was holding me.

We were both going to die, tears were streaming down my face I wasn't ready for this.

Their was a little bit of an impact but not much for me. I don't know how long it took for me to come too but something tells me it didn't take long considering when I opened my eyes Negan was laying beneath me with fresh blood everywhere.

A scream was caught in my throat I choked on air. I couldn't make a lot of noise due to the walkers all around us. I had to do something I looked at his body I was a doctor before all this shit happened but it's been so long, then it came to me.

I put my fingers on the back of his neck to check for a broken neck, he was lucky his neck was fine. I then checked his spine making sure he wasn't paralyzed everything seemed in place. He must've landed on his right side since his right arm was broken along with a few ribs.

Other than that he seemed ok but what worried me the most was if he punctured any major organs. Lifting up his shirt I felt his stomach and chest to look for any abnormalities I also checked his breathing. He wasn't coughing up blood but his breathing was a little off but that was to be expected after a traumatic event.

His head was bleeding he was obviously gonna need stitches I ripped up some of my shirt revealing my stomach and wrapped it around his head. I spotted the truck I just needed to get him into that to be absolutely safe. Looking around the walkers were still distracted at the grocery store.

I slowly lifted his body up making sure not to hurt him too much and dragged him over to the truck. I laid his body against the truck and opened the door. I pulled his body up into the seat making sure he was comfortable I grabbed a blanket from the back and wrapped him in it and closed the door.

I looked back towards the store I couldn't leave all those resources we desperately needed. I knew he was going to be ok he didn't need immediate attention despite falling off a roof which I was very surprised. I went to the back of the store thinking he had cleared it out in there considering he got to the roof.

Going in I quickly closed the door leading up into the stairs to block off the walkers up on the roof. I grabbed some boxes and kept loading them up onto the truck. It didn't take that long and finally I was carrying the last box to the truck.

Closing the back I went and jumped into the driver's seat. I did a quick check up on Negan to make sure he was still stable and started the vehicle unfortunately we had a long way home.
