"ok so we are going to do one final ultrasound and see where baby had moved to" she said smiling, Louis helped you get the gown up. she put some gel on your stomach before grabbing the wand and placing it on your swollen stomach, "ok so if you look here, he has moved quite a bit and he is in the right position, I'll just go let the doctor know and we will check how dilated you are" she said smiling and shutting off the machine and handing you some paper towel. your contraction came in a wave and you gripped louis' hands as tight as you could "ok mrs tomlinson, lets see how dialated you are" the doctor said with a bright smile "if you could please put your feet up on the stirrups for me, you remember what im going to do right?" she said sitting on a chair and you nodded, she slowly inserted her finger and checked around before smiling "youre fully dialted, lets get this baby into the world" you smiled and louis took your hand, some nurses walked in with a crib and some tools.
You had a plan with your doctor, push for 10 seconds wait for 10 seconds and repeat, so thats what you were doing "1...2....3....4....5....6...7....8...9...10...ok break" Louis said softly kissing your cheek and pushing your hair back, "ready?" you nodded and pushed, feeling like your cervix was getting shredded you screamed and cried before you stopped again "you're doing amazing sweetheart" louis said holding your hand and kissing the back of it repeatedly.
A loud cry was heard along with a few coughs "is everything ok?" you asked and the doctor nodded "everything is perfect, he ad some placenta in his mouth, so we are going to weigh him, get a blood sample and clean him up a bit before letting you hold him, Daddy, do you wan to cut the chord" louis nodded egarly "can i hold him for a moment" you asked and she nodded placing your baby boy on your chest "hey there my little guy, welcome to the world zac" you whispered tears forming in your eyes and he gripped onto your gown "lets get you cleaned up baby" you said before handing him back to the nurse.
It was about 1:30 pm and you were sitting in bed with zac resting on your chest, louis was getting the kids so you had some quality time with your new baby boy, he was looking around the room amazed by his surroundings. "ok, you need to be very quiet when you go see mummy, she's got a baby and he's got sensitive ears, you'll get to see him ok" Louis said quietly, "otay dada" you smiled and saw all of the triplets in their pyjamas walking into the room, Louis picked them up and placed them on the bed near your feet, "where you having a pj day with nana?" you asked and they nodded, so you gasped "how cool" you said smiling "yea and nana made us cookies" Nathan said and you smiled "did she now" Sophie nodded excitedly "do you guys want to meet your baby brother?" you said and they nodded you layed Zac down in front of them and Sophie grabbed his hand softly "this is Zac" Louis said kissing your temple softly, Nathan stroked his cheek softly and Jonathan just looked at him "do you like him Jono?" you asked and he shook his head "why not baby" you questioned "because now youre going to forget about us" he said tears pooling in his big eyes, you pulled him over and hugged him "how could i ever forget my three babies, I love you all the same, I may be spending some more time focussing on Zac, but for the first few months he needs mummy and daddies help to grow up, and I promise when daddy is looking after zac, mummy will come and spend her time with you ok baby?" he nodded and you kissed his head before pulling him closer into your chest.
