Sebastian paced the floor of the house. Arianna sat on the counter, her legs crossed as an apple passed between her teeth. Sebastian's headache was growing as she chewed. Arianna noticed this and placed the apple on the counter.
"So what you have a brother." She shrugged, "It's not a big deal Seb." Sebastian gave her a sideways glance, taking a seat.
Arianna glanced down at her exposed rib cage where her parabatai rune sat. The one that matched Sebastian on his right side as well. She could feel her head throbbing, the same as his. It was the curse that came with bearing the mark. They felt each other's pain. And all other emotions.
"My father loves him more." Sebastian's tone was venomous. Since Sebastian had found his father he had become stand-off-ish. Snapping at everything and everyone. Arianna felt for him, Sebastian gave everything to his father and all his father ever gave him in return was his back hand.
"Well," Ari said carefully, she knew better then to insult Sebastian father, "then we'll have to find a way to fix that." Sebastian nodded in response to her. Arianna touched his shoulder, Sebastian placed his hand into hers.
There was a gap, between their talking that was. They both were silent. Thinking of a way for Sebastian to win his fathers love back. Neither one spoke for a long time.
"We have to kill him." Sebastian said finally. His hands were still clasped in front of his mouth, so the words came out muffled. But Arianna still understood him.
Although the idea made her stomach turn she agreed. "Okay." He was her best friend, the closest person to her, what else was she supposed to say? Besides they were trained to kill.
Sebastian lifted his head up so his eyes would meet hers, "You have to date him." As much as Sebastian hated the idea of Jace touching her, he needed her to get close to him. Jace wasn't one to let his guard down easy.
Arianna though she going to choke, good thing she stopped eating that apple moments again. "Wait what?" Her voice sounded frantic, because she was shocked and confused.
Sebastian was silent. He was still staring forward. The look that crossed his face screamed that of desperation. He loved his father. He needed his fathers love.
"Gain his trust," Sebastian said, his voice was surprisingly calm. "Then we can take him out." Arianna nodded, not completely sure of the idea, and her hand still on her parabatai's shoulder.
