Chapter 2

A/N: I'm back! :D
BETH'S POV:
I woke up in my bed, it was silent apart from the slight purr of Ori sleeping in her bed in the corner. I grabbed my phone from my desk, stretching to unplug it and I tapped on YouTube.
If I wasn't so shy, I think it would be fun to be a YouTuber but who would wanna watch a shy teen like me who is terrified of their own shadow. I shivered at the thought, but shook it out of my head.
I went back to my phone and refreshed the youtube page. All of a sudden something flashed up, it was a recommended youtuber for me called 'stampylonghead'! Weird name! I checked out his videos anyway though and he was actually pretty good! I watched a video from a few hours ago called 'comp time!' I clicked on it and it was a short video explaining about a competition that he was running! It sounded fun but it was on something called 'Minecraft' which I had no clue what was, I decided to enter but first I needed to do some research to find out about 'Minecraft'
~time skip 1 1/2 hours~

Oohh I get what this thing is now, it is a blocky game where you can do a load of stuff! It looks so fun! I think it is quite cheap so I think I can get it. I searched online and it came up right at the top. 'Minecraft by Mojang' I immediately bought it and set it up to download.
~time skip half an hour later~
Still downloading! It only has about a quarter left but I am so HUNGRY! ~stomach growls~ ok, ok! I will play this game AFTER breakfast!
I grabbed a box of cereal and poured it into a bowl, slowly adding milk to the mixture. I then grabbed my bowl and took it upstairs, I'll clean the mess up later!
Once I got upstairs Ori was just waking up and Minecraft was 99% downloaded! Yay! I went over to stroke Ori, her soft paws smoothing and softening against my hand.
All of a sudden I heard a ding and minecraft was up on screen! Now I just needed to make an account and I could play!
Hmm what to call the account... oo I know! Sqaishey! Sqaish was my old pet hamster's nickname so I think it will be fitting but what animal should I have my character as... oo! A duck! That's perfect! I can be 'sqaishey quack'!
~ time skip to after account had been made and just about to join first world ~
Right! I can do this! I think I know the controls (WASD) and I know what to do! Oh the glorys of Google!
I joined the blocked world and I was transported into a beautiful forest! It was so delicately pixeled and the textures of the blocks were beautiful! What an extraordinary game!
~2 week time skip~
Right! This map is done! I am actually really proud of it! Now to upload it!
I decided to make a Twitter account using my 'sqaishey quack' name because I love it!
I sent a playthrough video to mr stampy cat through dm, and put my phone down to go to bed, I plugged it in and got under my duvet, it was soft and felt cosy on my cold, bruised skin. Mr Stampy cat probably won't see my video anyway because he has millions of followers and subscribers so I don't think I have a chance but I had fun making the map and who knows, maybe he will see it, though I have a lot of doubt about that...
There is a chance...
