D.O older hyung (older brother), older by three years and now in his military years.

D.O said that Xiumin as lovely hyung just like him (having similar personality and role in Exo-M) and Xiumin was a hyung that he’s love very much. 
Xiumin also said at Yinyuetai Interview that D.O is the member in EXO that has most similar personality as him. D.O looks like he has lot of aegyo, but actually he didn’t have aegyo. AndEXO-K member testified that even he didn’t have aegyo, he was just cute. 
D.O said that after 10 years, just like well known Japanese Group ARASHI, hopefully they will still doing activities together. He hopes that EXO-K always be together. (17122012 SINA Interview)

" I got goosebumps. I thought that i had to work even harder to show a good image. When i finally got to stand on stage as fan were looking at me, i was really nervous and it was also tiring but on stage, we were all so happy that we were laughing. People around me also told me “You’re finally debuting now" and congratulated me a lot. 
"I needed to show my own vocal color. To be honest, i have a lot friends who are good at singing. To be able to show my ability vocal fully, I needed to practice our country’s ballad’s perfectly, and find a way to express the sensibility found in R&B and soul songs. The thing i was concerned most about was the way to make my voice tune sound different than other singers"
