'I should've just showed up as a clown and passed out balloons.'

Several days had passed and school dragged on like the dragging of bodies. Each hour ticked by like a second, taking more than just precious time. Tj had decided to skip the remaining periods and smoke in the parking lot, driver seat leaned all the way back, and window down. Hot boxing wasn't her style- she wanted to smoke not choke. The Marlboro's she found such endless comfort in didn't treat her the same way in years- now it was just a habit.

"T-Those are bad f-for you." Tj could only smile. "I'm hoping it kills me sooner than later." She whispered to herself, taking a long drag from the cancer stick.

"Hey Tj!" Dustin suddenly greeted from beside her window causing the girl to jerk from her laid down position. "You better be glad I'm in a less than bitchy mood because I would have burned your damn eyes out of your head, Henderson." Tj hissed as she glared down the group of boys dressed as the cooky gang from Ghostbusters. "What do you want?" Tj asked as she tossed the rest of her cigarette out the window and away from the boys. "Oh y'know- nothing much just wanted to know if your going trick or treating?" Dustin said casually as Mike rolled his eyes from beside Will. "No- I've got kids to eat. Say, you wouldn't mind stopping by and sampling my brew? Children and dumplings." Tj teased with a smirk as Dustin warily laughed while Lucas audibly swallowed. "Uhh.. sounds tempting but I'm not much of a flesh type of guy."

Tj feigned disappointment as she laid back in her seat. "What a shame, I had a treat for guests afterwards but it seems there will be no kisses for anyone tonight." Dustin let out a range of struggled noises as he leaned into the window followed by the other three. "Kisses? You're giving kisses?" Lucas questioned with a raise of his eyebrows. "Yes but unfortunately- no kissing tonight."

"I mean- I'm sure we can work something out." Dustin rushed to say earning a slap to the back of his head by Mike. Tj leaned towards them suddenly with a cat like grin causing the four to jerk back away from her window. "As tempting as it sounds to ravish the souls of prepubescent boys- I've got a Halloween party to go to and you losers have 10 seconds to move before I run you over." Tj started the ignition and began to reverse hurriedly causing the group to jump back in avoidance of getting their feet ran over. "Save me some candy and I might just extend my kissing policy to after Halloween." Smirking, Tj hauled ass out of the student parking lot leaving the four standing with expressions ranging from bewilderment, confusion, and awestruck. "I'm going to marry her." Dustin suddenly said with a nod of his head.

Tj wasn't expecting to be pulling up on the side of the road. After witnessing Billy Hargrove almost run over the group of meddling boys on their bikes, Tj decided to give a helping hand. Something she rarely did. "Can't y'all stay out of trouble for once in your lives?" Tj called out as she exited her side of her car. "Kinda hard when trouble comes looking for you." Mike retorted begrudgingly as he picked up his bike. "Hop in and I'll drop y'all off at your houses. I've got time to spare and I'm sure you three don't want to wait around till he decides to pop back up." The trio shared a knowing look of hesitation until Dustin took it upon himself to make the first move towards the passenger side. Mike swiftly shoved Dustin towards the back seat door. "Hey! I called shot gun."

"No you didn't." Mike responded as he hopped into the familiar seat. "In my mind I did." Dustin mumbled as he got into the seat behind Mike while Lucas settled into the one behind Tj. "Doesn't count if you don't say it." Lucas countered as Dustin glared in his direction. "Technically it does because I had already thought of taking the passenger seat."

"But you didn't say it- with words. I'm not a mind reader." Mike shot back as he turned to face Dustin. "I still called it whether you knew or not." Dustin huffed with his arms crossed. "Wow- so is this gonna cause a rift or something? Cause shot gun ain't shit compared to the drivers seat." Tj commented with a wink as the car took off down the road.

After dropping the three boys off at their houses, Tj came home to an empty house. Something she still hadn't gotten used to. No one greeted her, asked about her day, no tv played in the background or dinner wafting through the air. It was quiet, dark and lonesome. Sighing, Tj dropped her bag and keys on the kitchen counter before making her way into her bedroom. Her blue eyes immediately zoning in on the outfit she chose to wear for the party. It consisted of a traditional Japanese styled silk dress with an arrange of gold accessories and black shoes. Glancing at the digital clock beside her bed, a couple hours was all she had to spare until the party began.

Huffing, Tj stripped down to her matching set of lacy maroon before slipping into the dress that stopped mid thigh. Makeup was never a big thing for Tj- mostly just a classic red lip was okay but she decided to settle on chapstick that tasted of vanilla. Her blonde hair was put up into a half updo with a gold clip perched within the bun. Earrings with obsidian stones dangled from her ears and a lone golden ring designed like a vine wrapped around her middle finger on the right. Her nails were painted a rich gold to match the whole getup.

"I should've just showed up as a clown and passed out balloons." Tj muttered, plenty of thoughts circulating around red lips, orange hair and white skin. "Red balloons."

The party was like every typical teenage oasis. Booze, drugs and couples fucking in the corners. Tj wrinkles her nose at the shameless display while making a beeline for the liquor table. Upon heading there, she sees two familiar faces that seem to be in a tense situation. "I want to have a drink- Tj! I didn't expect to see you here." Nancy widely smiled as the blonde approached the spiked punch. "Wasn't expecting to be here but it beats having my doorbell ringed a hundred times." Tj glanced at Nancy who still had her front of a smile plastered while Joe simply nodded at her. "Like the dress." Joe complimented as Nancy passed a drink to Tj. "I'd like it better if it was on my bedroom floor." A sudden voice resonates from behind Tj who rolls her eyes at the familiarity of it. "And I'd like you better if you didn't speak." Tj shot back slyly while Joe and Nancy slinked away.

"You'd miss hearing this voice." Billy teased as he tipped back his beer can. "Oh please- I'd do anything to have you stop talking." Billy gave a cynical smirk as he cornered Tj against the countertop of the kitchen. "Is that an invitation or an offer?"

"Why don't you find out, lover boy."

I know I suck. But I'll try to update as soon as possible since I'm on Christmas break and feeling better. I also have a few announcements or whatever you would call them.

First off, had anyone seen the movie Bright? It's on Netflix and honestly it was a really good movie. I recommend it if your into fantasy and action. It kinda reminded me of a modern LOTR/Hobbit.

Secondly, I have decided to start a series after this book is finished called, Of Gods And Monsters. And it will basically have different gods and goddesses from around the world mingling with mortals. I have decided that this series will be mature in the sense of sexual situations. So be warned if you decide to plug into those stories.

And thirdly, I wanted to ask if there should be a sexually explicit scene between Billy and Tj? Should it be a full on sex scene, details and all? Should it be a sex scene but more along the inferred side where it's describing what they are doing in a way that you have to guess it (?) or should there just not be one in general?
