Chapter 14

I wake up running to the bathroom and throwing up. I brush my teeth then I get in the shower. I go pick out a white shirt, jeans, a grey cardigan, and boots since it's starting to get cold.

I go downstairs and get a granola bar and go pick up Brianna.

She comes out wearing a black crop top, jeans, a black cardigan, and boots.

"Hey," I say.

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm good."

"You?"

"Fine."

I drive off and turn up the radio. Once we get to school we get our stuff and go to first period.

"I hate math," I tell Brianna.

"Same."

We sit down next to each other and wait till the teacher comes in. When she comes in she makes us take out our text books and work on a couple of problems. 10 minutes later the announcements come on.

"Good morning everybody, I hope you guys are having a great day. So here are you announcements for today. We are going to be having our yearly talent show. If you want to be in it sign up in the office. You have until September 5 to sign up. We are going to have our dress rehearsal September 17. You will have to practice at home because this year our band students will be using the auditorium. The talent show will be on September 20 at 6 pm. That's all for today, have a great day and remember be safe, respectful, and responsible."

"We gonna be in the talent show this year?" I ask Brianna.

"Yup let's tell the girls at lunch but I'm pretty sure Kailani won't do it cause she is kind of shy."

"True. But we'll see," I say.

Joshua's Pov

"So are we gonna do the talent show this year?" Austin asks me.

"Sure why not."

"Lets tell the boys at second period," Austin says.

After an hour of torture in math class it's finally second period.

"Hey guys, we gonna do the talent show," I ask my Brandon and Jason.

"You guys can do it, I'll be out of town that week," Brandon says.

"Ok," Austin says.

"Well I guess it's just us 3," I say.

"Hey bruh, you haven't been yourself lately your rep is going down," Jason says.

"I'll see you guys in class I have to go" Austin says.

"Ok," Jason says.

"What do you mean I haven't been myself lately?" I ask.

"Well you haven't hit on any of the girls " he says.

"Well um there has been a lot going on at home," I lie.

"Well get to it, the girls are waiting," he says.

"Yeah ok."

An hour later and it's lunch.

"Hey there cutie," Hailey a girl from the cheerleading team says to me.

"Hey there," I say as I sit down next to her.

She starts kissing me and I kiss her back. I then realise what I was doing and I pulled away. I smile shyly and eat my food.

Sissy's POV

"Hey girl " Elizabeth says.

"Hey," I say sitting down.

"So, are we gonna do the talent show?" Elizabeth asks.

"Yeah," Brianna and I say.

"Are you gonna do it Kailani?" Elizabeth asks.

"No, I think I'll just pass," she says shyly.

"Ugh fine," Elizabeth says.

"So what do you guys want to do?" I ask.

"Let me think," Elizabeth says.

As wait I look in Joshua's direction and I see him kissing Hailey. I gasp and my friends look to see at what I'm looking at.

"HOW DARE HE DO THAT TO YOU!" Elizabeth says in a mad tone.

"You know what he is going to pay," Brianna says.

"You know what, I got the perfect idea for the talent show," Elizabeth says.

"What?" I ask.

"We dance to New Rules by Dua Lipa and we see how Joshua likes that," Elizabeth says.

"Sure," I say.

"That's perfect," Brianna says.

"We will sign up tomorrow before school," I say.

"Ok," Brianna says.

The bell rings and we go to third period. 2 hours later it's the end of the day. I go to my locker and put my stuff away.

"Hey, what's up?" someone says behind me.

I turn around and see Joshua.

"Don't talk to me," I tell him.

"What?!"

"I saw you kiss Hailey so stop acting dumb," I say.

"No I didn't mean that, it was a mistake. I swear," he says.

"Well to bad," I say slamming my locker shut and walking towards my car.

"Wait," Joshua calls.

I ignore him and keep walking to my car where Brianna is waiting for me.

"You ok?" Brianna asks me.

"I'm fine" I say angrily.

We drive to my house and we go see Arrow in my room.

Joshua's POV

She ignores me and keeps walking to her car.

"Dang it," I mumble to myself

I turn back and walk to my locker to get my stuff.

"Hey hurry up we have football practice today," Austin says.

"Hey I got a good idea for the talent show," I say.

"What is it?"

"We could dance to how long by Charlie Puth," I say.

"Ok we'll tell Jason at practice," Ausin says.

"We will sign up tomorrow before school," I say.
