The following days are completely amazing! First stop was the beach on day 1
The ocean was cold, but I didn't care. I sprinted right in and dove with Jake in the waves, having the time of my life. We jumped over swells and dug for crabs like children and it was amazing. We tanned on the sand for hours and ate sushi from a picnic basket under an umbrella. We threw breadcrumbs to seagulls and watched storks dive into the water for fish. I swear I grinned the whole day, nonstop.Day two was meeting with a manager. His name was Harry, and I love the guy a lot. He saw my vision, something a lot of other people in Ohio had failed to do.
I had a deal with him, thanks to Jake, that same day.
Speaking of Jake, he was making this the sweetest trip of my life. Every day he went wherever I wanted to eat, did what I wanted to do, all with a smile on his face. After meeting with Harry we went to the beach again. I was sooo gonna miss it back in Ohio.
We sat on towels and watched the sunset from ashore, and then we kissed. Our first kiss.
Picture perfect.
And our hotel. Ohh our hotel. How stunning it was. On a Malibu hilltop overlooking the ocean, huge and grand and splendid. Jake and I slept together after that evening on the beach, and we usually shared a bed from then on.On day three we met with two of the five model agencies. Both offered me contracts right away. Damn why haven't I don't this sooner?! I thought. I had no idea of my... potential.
Day four was much the same. Two of the three agencies we met with offered up a contract right off the bat.
On day five I met again with Harry to decide who to sign with.
Within a month I had walked an LA runway.
After those two weeks we flew back to Ohio and Jake and I said our goodbyes. I thanked him so dearly for the time of my life, and we promised to get together again soon.
