Jeon Jungkook

You were at your University's library studying on the third floor. You had an exam at 5pm that day. It was 3pm right now. As you looked at your phone, you realized that you had 2 hours left to do more practice exams for your physics exam. You timed yourself for an hour and started working on the practice exams. You were so focused on the time and your practice exam that you didn't notice someone walking into the library.

You had 5 minutes left on the clock and 2 more problems left to do! As time was running out, you finished the last word of your explanation when—
*BEEP BEEP*

You sighed and put down your pencil. You brought out your red marker to correct your practice exam. You took the cap off of your pen until someone placed their hand on your shoulder. You jumped a little and grabbed the hand and started twisting it.

"OW OW OWWWW STOP!" He yelled.
You looked up to find your friend, Jungkook grimacing in pain. You let go and apologized for hurting him. He rubbed his hand a bit and sat next to you.

"When did you get here?"
"An hour ago."
"Really? What did you do?"
"Eh. Nothing. Just sat around."
"Sounds boring."
"Not really. It's good to relax once in a while."
"I guess...? Anyways are you done with classes for the day?"
"Yeah, I was done at 10:30am, but had work until 4:30."
"Oh, you just got off?"
"Yep."
"Ahhh... At least you can relax now! I have a physics exam to get to..."
"Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll do fine!"
"I don't think so..."
"Do you want me to walk you to your exam?"
"Don't you have other things to do? Like homework?"
"Nah. I finished it before I came. So is that a yes or a no?"
"Sure!"

You guys left the library at 4:45pm. He was walking along side you. As you took in the beautiful color of the sky after being in the library for 5 hours straight, you didn't realize that Jungkook was staring at you. You took in a deep breath and let it out. The sensation felt so nice. Jungkook chuckled a little at your actions. Once you got to your exam room, he wished you luck as you walked in.

1 hour later

You walked out of the exam feeling okay about it. You were about to put in earbuds and blast music until you saw someone sleeping on a bench inside the building. You had to hold your laughter. You took out your phone and decided to take a picture since it'll last longer. You tiptoed towards him and snapped a picture. You then bursted out laughing.

Jungkook woke up shook by the loud noise. He rubbed his eyes and looked up. As his vision cleared, he smiled his bunny like smile and got up.

"How did your exam go?"
"Eh. I think I did okay."
"Really? Hmmm... What do you wanna do now?"
"I'm not exactly sure... but all I know is... I'M FREE AT LAST. Also, you didn't have to wait for me. You could've just gone home!"
"What kind of friend just leaves? I'm here to stay!"
"If you say so."
You started walking and Jungkook caught up and matched your pace.
"So... I was thinking... since you're done with exams for now... Wanna go to a Bubble Tea place to celebrate?"
"That sounds like an amazing idea...! Let's go!"
Jungkook chuckled at how adorable you were.

Once you guys arrived at the Bubble Tea place, you guys got your drinks and sat down at a booth.

"Why do you always get coconut flavored bubble tea?"
"Because I have a coconut looking friend. Just kidding! I really like the flavor, wanna try some?"
Jungkook didn't hesitate to lean in and drink from your drink, however, he accidentally missed the straw and ended up kissing your hand while you held the straw for him.

You both turned light pink and notice the awkward atmosphere that welcomed you guys. Jungkook coughed a bit.

"S-sorry about that... I tend to be a bit of a klutz when I'm around you..." He trailed off.
"What? W-why around me?"
"Y/N, do you really not know?"
"Know what?"

He mentally face palmed himself before taking a deep breath. He looked straight into your eyes. You had to hold your breath from how intense this was starting out.

"I like you, Y/N."

You let go of your breath and laughed a little. You had thought it was something serious.

"Are you kidding? I like you, too!"

Jungkook physically facepalmed himself this time. He took another deep breath and held your hands in place now.

"No. Y/N, I mean that I have had feelings for you since we met last year. I want you to be my girlfriend. That's what I mean by 'like.'"

You sat there after the thought finally processed. You didn't realize it this whole time. You did have thoughts about how he was pretty attractive at times but you always threw those thoughts towards the back of your head. It took you a while to organize your thoughts when Jungkook coughed again.

You looked up and noticed that he had pulled out a red rose for you. You looked at it lovingly and took it with a smile. You looked at the rose for a bit before making eye contact with him.

Once your eyes met, you both smiled knowing that this would be the start of something new.
