Hide and Seek

I hide behind my mama’s skirts

Sneaking peeks at the man that fills my dreams

I play hide and seek as the dances go by

Though who is being hunted

Him or I

My mama tells me no

But I don’t want it any other way

I like his smile, his winks, his smile at my

Childish game

Shall we play in the garden

I’ll run through the bushes

Covering my giggles as I creep low

Will he follow

Oh how I wish he would

My mama tells me no to go away and hide

To stay away

But I cannot listen

His smile has my mind, My mind is filled with thoughts

That shall send me to sit at Satan’s feet

I do not care for I want to play with this man

The way he watches me, I feel it. His calls me to his side

Sliding my hand in his, he turns me around the dance floor

You feel soft as a feather

He tells me, and I know I turn cherry

But he smiles

You are the pretest by far, it is good the doors are open

He says as he turns me to face the moon.

I lower my gaze, I know what I have been taught

Tell me, love, my pet, shall we stroll in the moonlight

Maybe we will finish the game tonight when I catch you
