Opposites Attract

Part 1

Max's p.o.v

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring some annoying random pop music so i turned it off and got up and took a shower but i froze the water. Did i mention i have powers but im not the only one everyone is born with a power and you get put in a school where all the elements and other powers out there and up until highschool they are all together.

But when you reach high school your put in one of two schools so let me explain if you have one of the four elements as a power your put in Marksman high but if you have any other power your put in Ledgers high and im starting as a freshman at marksman high and the thing about me is i have ice powers why is that so special you may ask but im the only person in the world no in existence who has ice powers and ive been bullied before for it so im not excited for my first day.

"Max breakfast" my father told me as he walked into my room.

The thing is i look nothing like my mother or father i have Brown eyes with specks of Aquamarine in the and i have brown hair with a streak of blue in the front while they both have blue eyeshadow and blonde hair.

"No thanks dad i think i'll just head out to school" i said to him.

"Ok have a good day at school" he said walking away.

So i got dressed in a long sleeve tee with a flannel wrapped around my waist and jeans and black converse. I grabbed my phone and backpack and headed out the door saying goodbye to my family and headed to the school which wasn't a far walk away.

10 min later

I walked into the school and went to the office and grabbed my schedule and looked at the homeroom and headed there. When i found the room i walked in and the room was packed with people so i found a seat in the back and near a window and a couple minutes later the bell rang and i saw the teacher walk in and set his stuff down.

"Hello class i'm mister Smith and ill be your homeroom teacher for the year so first things first well be introducing ourselves and showing us your power as you can see i've set out various things for you to use si lets get started first up is Aaron please introduce yourself and show us your power" mister smith said as he sat down.

Then a guy about the same height as me got up and he has most beautiful eyes ive ever seen and he has dirty blonde hair and he has sea blue eyes with specks of a piercing red and he looked over the class with a blank look and his eyes landed on me and he smiled and i blushed so hard i thoughti was sick then he started to speak.

"Hi im Aaron and i have the power of fire" he said as he grabbed a piece of wood out of the pile and held it in his hands for a second then it bursted into flames after a couple minutes the fire died and he sat down.

"Ok next up is-" mister smith started as i tuned him out and started to draw something random in my notebook.

After about 10 minutes mister smith called out my name.

"Max your next please introduce yourself and show us your power" mister smith said.

Then i walked up to the front of the class and i looked at the class as my eyes landed on Andrew and he was smiling at me and so i smiled back at him.

"Hi my name is Max and my power is different from all of yours i have the power of ice" i said as i grabbed a stapler and focused and after a couple of minutes the stapler froze solid and after another minute the stapler thawed and i heard gasps and whispers and i looked at Andrew and he was smiling like a cute idiot and the bell rang shortly after.

So i went to my seat and grabbed my bag and walked out of the room and started walking to my next class when i was stopped and when i turned around i saw Aaron and he was smiling and that made me smile.

"H-hey Aaron" i stuttered.

"hey Max" Aaron said.

"I-is there somethung you needed" i asked him.

"Uh yeah i um wanted to know if you wanted to h-hang out at the park after school" Aaron asked blushing slightly which in turn i started to blush too.

"Uh s-sure' i stuttered still blushing.

"C-cool i'll see you after school then" Aaron said and then walked away.

Then after a couple minutes of just standing there i started walking to my next class.

4 hours later

When the bell rang to leave for the day and i walked out of the building and saw Aaron and when he saw me he had a smile on his face and walked over to me with a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"Hey Max" Aaron said smiling.

"H-hey Aaron" i said to him smiling and blushing.

"Ready to go" Aaron said smiling.

"Y-yeah" i said to him still smiling.

"Well lets go then" Aaron said smiling.

"O-ok" I said stuttering.

15 min later

We were walking for a while then we turned into the park and nobody was there which i was happy for so i did the thing i was most happy with i ran to this thing that spins around in circles and i jumped on it and spun it around and i stopped when i heard laughuing behind me.

"What are you laughing at" I asked Aaron smiling.

"You" He said still laughing.

"W-why" I asked blushing.

"C-cause your so c-cute" He said laughing and blushing.

"W-what"I asked.

Then Aaron walked over to me and he looked at me and he smiled and said.

"I l-like you"

Then he put his hands on the sides of my face and brought his face close to mine until our faces were only a couple of inches away and we stayed like that for a couple of minutes and after a while of that i closed the distance between us and put my lips onto his and he kissed back after a couple of minutes and  then we pulled apart cause we needed air and we looked at eachother and we noticed that there was steam emitting off of us and we just looked at eachother and laughed.

"I like you to Aaron" I said to him andkissed him again.

Then we heard thunder and then it started raining hard and when i looked at Aaron he was dry and wet at the same time and steam was coming off his body and he just looked at me and laughed.

"You know this is why i love my powers" I said to him.

"Why" He asked.

"Watch" I said to him while putting my hand out infront of me as snow and ice started to rise out of my hand and into the rain clouds above and the rain slowly stopped and snow started to fall and land on the ground and in our hair and we looked at eachother and smiled and we kissed one last time before he walked me home.

"Thank you Aaron i had a fun time even tho it wasn't a date" I said to him and holding his hands.

"Me to" He said to me and hugged me.

"You know people are gonna think this is weird you know our relationship" Aaron said to me.

"I know but Opposites Attract" I said to him and kissed him.

"Good night Max" Aaron said to me.

"Goodnight Aaron" I said to him.

We kissed one last time and i went inside my house and went up to my toom and got ready for bed and climed into bed and while i was drifting off to sleep and before i lost consiousnes i thought to myself Opposites Attract.
