Here You Are

Chanyeol sat on a park bench, far away from the graveyard that he had just spent hours in. He looked up at the sky, letting the wind whip across his face. It was cold, and it felt like little needles were repeatedly pricking his face.

He didn't mind though, it just reminded him of the snow angel outside Baekhyun's window.

He felt so tired, he was sure he could sleep right then and there. So he closed his eyes and tried to turn everything off. Every memory, image, thought of Baekhyun was going to be locked away again. Until they could be happy memories once again.

He nearly fell into a deep sleep outside.

"Excuse me?"

He opened his eyes and the light blinded him for a second.

"Hi! I'm Lee Jaechan, I'm a huge fan."

He could have sworn it was Baekhyun. But maybe it was the light, maybe he needed to let his eyes adjust first and he would see that it wasn't. But his eyes adjusted and they settled on a head of black hair, clear soft skin and small pink lips that ignited in him memories of a small boy who he loved with all of his being.

It was Baekhyun.
