That's when it started. I was lying in bed when suddenly the sounds of notifications and the alarm beeping. I looked at my phone when I managed to read "ERIC CLAPTON, GUITAR LEGEND FIRES BACKUP GUITARIST!"
I could not believe it. Whoever gets the role, hits a jackpot.
A few hours had passed and I could not get the news out of mind. I was hanging out with my friends when suddenly my girlfriend, Emma said "Guys, I heard that Eric is holding auditions tomorrow for the back up guitarist."
As soon as she said that my mind blew up. What if it was my time to shine now.
