two boys
jungkook and i were playing outside together,
he wanted to play house.
that's when you pretend to be adults
with jobs and responsibilities.
it didn't seem fun,
but jungkook said it was fun.
so we played,
because i like seeing jungkook have fun.
he said because we were two people,
we could pretend to be a couple.
so i asked him which one of us was the wife.
but he said,
"there doesn't have to be a wife."
it seemed strange.
two boys as a couple?
wasn't it always supposed to be a boy and a girl?
but when i told that to jungkook,
he looked sad.
i didn't want him to be sad,
so i told him we can pretend to be two boys as a couple.
and he smiled.
