Just pack up your shit
Because I can't have you staying here
I didn't sign up for forever,
I didn't even sign up for a year.

And no, you haven't done anything wrong...
But if you could that be great.
Because I'm getting really sick
Of seeing myself in this state

So pack up your bags and go,
I've got more baggage on its way.
Sure you can help carry it in
But no way in hell am I letting you stay.

You've taken care of this fragile heart
And it seems to have stayed intact
But please, before you break it
I'd like to have it back

You've taken the time to put band aids
On the places where it might have chipped
But still I think I should take it
Because Band aids can definitely rip

I'll give you a kiss at the door
Before I send you on your way.
And in about a week or so
... I'll probably invite you to come and stay

But for now you have to leave
So I can at least say I gave it a try
Don't worry about me,
I'm more than capable of getting by

I'll pack up the memories and jokes
And all the butterflies I've collected over time
I'll give them to you when you leave
So that if you come back, you might have changed your mind

So just pack up your shit and leave
Even though it felt nice with you here
Letting you stay will only make it harder
When you suddenly decide to disappear
