Jeff Woods, more commonly known as Jeff The Killer, wanted to kill a man. Jeff has killed many men before, but this man was different. Most people he killed were on impulse, and the murders weren't planned out. This man, the different one, Jeff had been watching for a long time.

Jeff knew everything about this man, well almost everything. The man was very paranoid, he never rarely left his house, he moved frequently, and he always held things between his thumb and first-finger to avoid getting his fingerprints on stuff. He also happened to be the worlds greatest detective. The thing that Jeff didn't know about this man, was his name.

He knew that the man went by the name L. Just a plain letter L. Since L was the worlds greatest detective, he didn't let anyone know his name. He didn't let anyone take his picture, he just didn't want anyone finding out who he was.

Jeff wanted to kill L, but first, he wanted to find out his name. He would do anything to get the name, no matter how gruesome it would be or how long it would take.
