"You aren't worth it" said the dark shadow,
"and you will never be." Cecilia smelled the alcohol on his breath, and she knew he had been drinking again. She whimpered, knowing what was to come.
He stripped her of her clothes, but that wasn't important he mostly stripped her of her dignity. The dignity she never had.
He slipped off her pants and slammed himself into her. It hurt a lot. But the pain was more of a numbness. A numbness Cecilia would fight her whole life. A numbness called depression. The second he finished, Cecilia lay on the bed in shock. He pulled his pants back on and left. Cecilia lay there, in such a state of numbness that she was practically rendered unconscious. He had come again. And he had done it. Her own father. He said it wouldn't happen again. He promised! But all promises eventually fall apart, and Cecilia felt her heart fall apart along with the promise.
