I watched as Emily walked downstairs in the purple dress that Emily picked out for her. The whole pack was standing downstairs. I was the best man. Which I didn't mind. I was excited to hear Emily sing. Her eyes were tired. I could tell. She shouldn't have survived the fall. I haven't been able to sleep thinking about it. She's not human. I mean, I don't love her any less. But she's not human. Sam doesn't think so either. None of us do. But yet, we can't get her out of our minds. She's there. In whatever we do. She left an impression.
