An unexpected visit from my good friend Mr. Utterson and his perculiar walking companion Mr. Enfield, led me to question the circumstances in which their usual route let them stray into my courtyard. However, they rather courteously graced me with their presence as my work held my concern for my aquaintances, and longing for mannorable company, captive; its jaws clamped tightly shut unwilling to let my attention stray far from it. I have found myself unable to pry my attentions away from my experiment for long enough to partake in the usual merriment that my aquaintances frequently enjoyed. Though I talk of my work light-heartedly it bares a large and expanding burden upon my shoulders; one of which I have often found myself inable to rid myself of.
