I have newly stumbled upon an advancement in my experiment. Though it is intreguing, I fear for the lives of the ones closest to me. The instability and my own doubts lead me to conclude that of which I did not want to admit to be a truth. The danger I have put the civilians of london in is none other than my own doing and I cannot lay the blame upon another. For I deeply regret the decision I made those years ago, I was nieve and did not kniw of the power I may now have lent to the darkness of man.
I wish, hope, pray, that I am the only man who lays eyes upon my work.
This brings me to my decision; I shall be absent from all sociality, I am not to entertain a guest, my only contact is to be with Poole, my butler, and Mr. Utterson as my lawyer. Hence forth this shall be the final entry to what I might only specify as a diary, or series of memoirs to document my investigations into the duality of man and complexity of the human condition.
