Corbin smirked. "Exactly, which is why I want you to be my date for the weekend. You'd be perfect. And considering that you don't want anything permanent or long-term as well and you're my best friend's sister"

Evie bit her lip. 

She was this close to telling him that she wanted permanent and long-term with him.

Meet Evie Erin. Twenty-two and has a knack for being in serendipity situations. Or was it just really her luck when her brother's best friend Corbin came knocking on her door - looking hot and sexy in his suit - and demanding her to be his date for the weekend just to shut his parents' up?

But what Corbin Hayes didn't know was that Evie held a secret she was willing to take even in her own grave. A secret that no one (even her brother) knew that she was in love with him. Although Evie had sworn she'd rather get stab with a fork in the eyeballs and go blind than to tell Corbin.
