i used to believe
that life is just about living
but oh boy
was i wrong
yes i indeed was
a new façade to pull over
every day
and an old reason to put through
all and everything
makes me wonder
why is it that the life
isn't just about living
instead it marks its territory around you
and is dishonest
asking you to struggle to achieve
the things that you believe in
and rest upon your efforts
that no one bothered to look at
maybe that's why it says to live alive
to feel each day like never before
