(A/n: It's been a while, sorry about that.....)

Cyrus POV

We left the hospital... 8 boring days later. We had to stay to make sure the baby wasn't gonna die, and that it wasn't some sort of alien sent to kill us all. Finally.... FINALLY, we got to bring her home.

"She has your eyes, Jonah, look." I said lovingly to my husband.

He chuckled, "You told me this like 8,000 times, bear." His eyes glistened in the sun. I kept thinking about our wedding day idly. The way his face lit up, the dancing, Buffy in the car, every thing. There's only one thing I would change. . . meeting his family.

Now granted, I do love my in laws, and most of their family, but some of them make me feel very uneasy. Like his cousins, they were tall and lanky, and one of the girls looked super familiar, though I could swear I've never seen her before. Johna pulled me away from my thoughts, "Hun, we're home. Just head inside, I'll get Dakota." He smiled fondly at me then the baby. Such a gentleman.

"Dinners ready love!" I yell to Johna, who was hard at work in his office. I heard papers being moved and the wheels of a spiny chair, followed by a door opening and closing.

"Babe, this, smells, amazing." He said, taking small breaths between each word. I look down and fix him a plate, and then Dakota starts crying. "Ugh!" I grunt and head to the nursery. "Hey, hunny, I'm gonna get Dakota, she really hates being alone." I call to Johna, not that he needs a play by play.

"Shh-shh-shh, Dakota, baby it's okay, I'm here." I coo, picking her up. She keeps waling, "Are you hungry, aww, it's okay." I grab a bib and tie it around her neck, "come on, daddy's waiting."

I walk back out to the kitchen, and make a bottle and give it to her before walking into the dining room. Johna smiles, "There's my two favorite people!" I turn back ,giving Dakota to Johna, and make my plate. But the one I set out was gone. "Baby I made your plate already. Also it's my cousins birthday and we've been invited to dinner." He says as I enter the room.

I grunt, "do we have to go?" I say pleading.

"Yes, my cousins need to meet the baby." He said, unaffected by my plea.
