Her eyes shine red with tears.
You embrace her grief.
Her silhouette of strength
Falls apart in your arms.
This is wrong.
You feel taller, bigger,
Than you should.
You hold her.
You choke back
Tears of your own.
You're her strength now,
You have to be her rock.
After all the times
You wept on her shoulder,
It's your turn
Carry her through.
