Zayn couldn't believe what he just did, he saw the blood on the corner of your eye. He stepped forward and you quickly moved back more into the wall, Zayn's heart sank when he saw the scared look on your face and the fear in your eyes"baby...I...I'm so sorry." You stood up and you locked yourself in the bathroom. You cleaned up your eye and stared at yourself in the mirror, you saw that you would have a black eye, the eye was swollen and the ring that Zayn always wore left an imprint on your eye. You never thought that Zayn would hit you, you honestly didn't know how to feel about it. You eventually left the bathroom to wake up Jackson, you found him sitting in bed with Maya by his side. He ran to you when he saw you"morning, mommy." You picked him up and kissed his cheek"what happened to your eye?" You looked at Maya"nothing." You got Jackson ready for the day and made him breakfast, you were surprised to see that Zayn was still here. He looked at you and his face sank when he saw your eye"can we talk?" You didn't look at him"actions speak louder than words, Zayn." You heard him get up and your breath hitched in your throat, you held Jackson tighter. Zayn's shoulders slumped down"I didn't mean to scare you, Y/N. I don't know what came over me and I'm so sorry, I really am, babe."
He sighed"I didn't sleep with Maya while we were together, I could NEVER cheat on you, Y/N but I am man enough to say that I did BEFORE you came into the picture. You and Jackson have been the only good things in my life and I would never do anything to jeopardize that." You set Jackson down and kissed him"I know I should leave the first time you hit me, but don't you EVER lay your hand on me again. The only reason I didn't walk out that door is because of that little boy right there. I'm your girlfriend, but Jackson means so much more to me." He nodded and hugged you tight. Maya smiled at the scene and went to leave, but her eyes widened once she opened the door and saw Perrie standing there"is Zayn here?" Maya nodded"stay right-" Perrie pushed her way in, making Maya roll her eyes. "Zaynie!" Perrie exclaimed once she saw Zayn. Zayn moved away from you"I can't catch a fucking break." You nodded in agreement with him as you looked at your boyfriend's ex wife. Jackson ran into the room, Perrie looked at her son"hi baby." Jackson ran into your arms"mommy."
