A/N: This is my first sci-fi book! This literally took me all night to make this chapter. :p

 I am a humongous fan of Star Wars and The 5th Wave, so that's my inspiration.

 I AM A TOTAL COMEDIAN SO BE WARNED YOU WILL LAUGH IN THIS BOOK.

 Well, don't come to me when your guts explode from laughing too much. I'll just say I told 'ya so.

 Anyways, on with the story!

When I was in Kindergarten, my family and I sometimes drove to a restaurant or a movie or something that families do at night. When we were on the highway, I could see the front and back lights of the cars, and I thought that the white lights were angels going to heaven, and the red lights were little devils going to who knows what.

Turns out, devils can be real sometimes.

I'm Brielle. Bri for short. The typical 16 year old girl. Awkward, funny at worst moments, has three best friends that she can trust when all the others try to stab you in the back (Literally). You know, typical.

Hmm. I should add 'aspiring writer' to that one. Oh yeah, I should probably tell you that people are trying to break through a makeshift barricade to murder me, but that's for later.

It all started when I was chatting with one of my friends on the ship comms, Riley.

Riley482: yeah yeah enough with that just rolanda xD

Riley482: i just needed to tell someone about the small victory that i just had :D

BrielleZeGiselle: bring it onnnnn

Riley482: mk. so i almost dropped my datapad into the water of the depths of my toilet

BrielleZeGiselle: anndddd?

Riley482: IT DIDN'T FALL INTO THE HOLEEEEEEEEEEEEE

BrielleZeGiselle: so should i bow down to you orr...?

Riley482: Hmm

Riley482: i think you should try feeding me grapes first, then clip my toenails...
