***********2 DAYS LATER**********

Still driving in the car, we pull into Nevada, I shake Isabella awake, and tell her we're in Nevada, she asks some questions before falling back asleep. We have barely eaten anything these last few days, and have slept on the side of the road plenty of times.

Oh, and I got some hair dye. It is a brown, and I grabbed a blonde wig while Isabella's head heals. I am pretty sure it is infected, so I have taken extra care to her wound. It split open again, and we have decided on known names, and when I was in a local town library, I printed new birth certificates and a new driver's license for me.

I am 20 years old, and she is six. Our names are Katherine and Jill. I'm Jill, and she is Katherine. She has been calling me Jilly or Jill-Bill. My nickname for her is Katie or Kat.

Since she can write, we've been writing this story together, and I wanted to originally make it an autobiography, but since she is helping me write, and come up with ideas now, I might as well call it a biography. Anyway, we are off, and in Nevada, we are pretty close to Las Vegas, but we need a plan to buy a different car and find a new place.

When we stop at a gas station or a library, I use the WIFI on my new phone. We have covered a lot of ground, but I have also looked at a lot of places in Vegas that I really like, online of course. One of which is a 4 bedroom house able with pets, with a fenced yard. Security system included, and more. To buy is only half a million dollars.

I need to find a job, but there are no records of me, so I will probably do a cooking job for a casino or something. While mastering, and working for promotions, I will look for a secondary job. *Cough cough* I mean, I'm not a millionaire or anything. I mean, I only have 3 million dollars still, but I still need to work and take care of Isa- I mean Kat.

She is still sleeping when I look back at her, we needed showers bad. We haven't spent any money on hotels, or camping. We barely have spent it on food as well. Kat has switched to raspberry jam sandwiches and tells me she will never eat a grape jelly one ever again.

"Hay Jill?" a voice comes from the back seat and the puppy stirs in the front.

"Yes, Katie?" I reply in a quiet voice hoping she will fall back asleep.

"Where are we?" She sits up and looks around. Sarabi jerks up and wags her tail. She climbs over the center console into the back seat with Kat.

"I don't know, the next town is 30 miles away. We will stop there and see if anything helps." I say reassuring the sadness on her face.

"Ok, Jill." she smiles for a minute, and hugs Sarabi laying back down on the seat.

"I'm going back to sleep," Kat says.

"Alright, I'll wake you up when we reach the town."

     "Ok," she replies.

She quickly falls back to sleep, and the puppy wiggles her way out of Kat's arms, then climbs up front in between the two seats. Sarabi looks at me, and whines.

"Alright," as I say this, she jumps into my lap and cuddles up against me. She obviously loves both Kat and me. I see the turnoff to the next town, and when I reach it, I look at the sign. It reads:

                                                     8 miles to Hiko, Nevada.

                                                      116 miles to Las Vegas.

I take the road, and think, that is only an hour away! I get all happy, and sit up, Sarabi stirs underneath of me. I laugh at the puppy and mumble out something like well, maybe you shouldn't sit on my lap while I'm driving.

I look out the window and smile. We're almost home. I pull off to a pull-off before I reach the town, and wake up Kat.

"Hey Kat, there's some water if you want to play in it, and take a small walk," I say happily.

"Why are you so happy?" She looks at me.

"Because we're almost to Las Vegas. we're an hour away kiddo!" I practically hit my head on the top of the car. as I open the door, Sarabi pushes her way through, and she jogs to the water. Kat gets out and takes off her shoes. I slip out of my flip-flops.

I hear Sarabi barking, and I hear Kat say something.

"Jill!!!! There's a girl!" she yells.

"Well, go say hello." I roll my eyes at her. She turns to me with horror on her face.

"She's in the water." She is crying now.

"What's wrong?" I sprint over to the spring, and sure enough, there's a girl, in the water, with her head down in it, dead. I tell Kat to go get my phone. She does. When she returns, I call the police. I tell them all about the body, they say it might be the missing girl, they said they would be here in about 10 minutes. I tell Kat that the police would be coming.

When they show up, they rush to the body and make a claim that it is a girl named Taylor. The investigator comes up to me and says that we can go. I tell Kat to get in the car with Sarabi, and that I will be there in a moment. She runs to the car carrying Sarabi in her arms.

"Excuse me," I tap one of the investigators on the shoulder, "excuse me."

He turns around, it wasn't an investigator, it was my father. I gasp.

"What do you want?" He snaps, with tears streaming down his face.

I put on a southern accent, "Who was that sir," I try to act like I have no clue.

"My daughter, she has been missing for a week, and now she," he pauses for a moment, "Taylor's dead." He breaks down crying, and I turn around, I had to get the heck out of there. I run up to my car and get in it. I start it and drive off.

"Are you ok?" I ask Kat after about five minutes.

"Did they think that was you, Taylor?" She looks up and smiles.

"Yes, they did." I smile to myself, and say, "they think I'm dead," I look at her, and laugh. "We're free Izzy, we're free."

"You're not supposed to call me Izzy Tay." She smiles and laughs. she looks at me, and says, "the snake stinks like rotten meat." She looks down towards the dead snake.

I look at her in the mirror, "Well, we could just get a new car."

"If we get a car, we should get a buggy."

"A dune buggy, or a bug?" I ask.

     "A bug," she replies.

"Alright, we will get one." I tell her then smile, "or should we get a Ferrari?"

"No, to flashy," she replies. "I just want a wittle baby car."

"A wittle baby car?" I laugh, "then why don't we just hijack a little red wagon?"

"Because we can't." She sticks her tongue out at me.

"We're pulling into town, where do you want to get food kiddo?" I ask her ignoring her tongue.

" Just the gas station." She folds her arms, and says, "I just wanna get to Vegas."

"Alright, how about this, we can gas up here, and get food in the city," I say.

"Ya, let's do it!" she gets all excited. We pull into the parking lot of the T-Mobile and I gas up. I get back in the car, and we start driving to Las Vegas, an hour and 40 minutes away.

When we pull into Las Vegas, I turn on the radio to oldies classic. Viva Las Vegas comes on, and we start to sing it. We are ok, we made it, we will live in happiness.
