"Work..." he spoke softly in almost a whisper, I looked over at him, and saw that his mask was on my side. "Why do you wear that?" I raised an eyebrow, and he just kinda froze. "I bet you're handsome under there..." I put my hand on his arm, and he inhaled deeply. "You don't want to know why I wear this mask...you're sister found out...and now...she's gone out of my life because of what's under here...I was neglected by her...so I went into hiding once more..." he said as he went back to working. "My sister is married to a fucking asshole..." I sighed as I read the music sheet he had written, "you don't like him?" he looked over at me, as I scanned the music sheet, and I shook my head. "I see..." he cleared his throat as he pulled out some paper, and went over the lyrics that were on it. "When father died...she was brought here...to the opera house...and I was sent away...only recently was I able to come here...and look what's happened so far...I study for ballet...and have an awesome singing teacher...who I assume was the man on stage with me during today's show?" I smiled at him.

He chuckled, and nodded. "Interesting...so why all of a sudden did you decide to make yourself known? Was it to let Christine and Raoul know that you were still here, and that even though they are here you won't leave?" I raised an eyebrow. "As I said...I've been waiting to meet you in person for a long time...only now with the return of those two buffoons did I have the courage to do so" he looked at me. "Can I...stay down here...with you for a few days? I'm curious as to what it's like down here..." I gave him a pleading look. "It's quiet...away from the light...I like it down here...it's easier to work...so yes you can stay as long as you want...it'll be easier to teach you if you stay as well..." he smiled at me, "thank you" I gave him a kiss on the cheek, got up, and went back to the bed where I laid down, and went to sleep.

After a few hours I woke up to Christine? "What are you doing here?" I asked her as I saw she was wearing a pair of pants, and a dress shirt. "We need to leave..." she grabbed my hand, and we left the room. I saw that Raoul had Erik tied up, and pointed a sword at him. "Erik!" I ran over to him, "are you okay?" he asked me as I hugged him, "what happened?" I raised an eyebrow, and he chuckled. "They caught me off guard..." he glared at Raoul and Christine. "what are you two doing? Untie him!" I demanded, "what?! No! He kidnapped you didn't he?" Raoul raised an eyebrow. "What?! No! I went with him! Why would you think that he took me?" I coughed, "because of the stuff I went through..." she said, "I don't care...please...Christine...remember whenever I said that I wanted to meet Erik one day...face to face and thank him for inspiring my voice? Well...this man is Erik...please let him go" I begged.

"You are aware that he's killed in the past right?!" Raoul gave me a look, "as you said...in the past...there is no guarantee that he'll do it again" I glared at them, "people like that never change...have you even seen what he looks like?!" Christine yelled as Erik tore his gaze, and starred at the floor. "You always told me Christine...Don't judge a book by it's cover...I don't care about what he looks like under that mask...it's in the actions that makes the man...not his looks..." I said untying him. "The way you defend him almost sounds like you love him..." Raoul glared at me, "the way you talk makes me angry makes me wanna hit you...and of course I love him...I've known him since the first day I was here...he as I said...inspired my voice...and when I first meet him in person you guys show up, and try to turn me against him...that's messed up on so many levels...if anything...I'd say that you two need to wear a mask..." I furrowed my eyebrows at them, and they gave me a shocked look. "You really love him? And don't want him to get hurt?" Christine raised an eyebrow, and I nodded. "He means a lot to me..." I gripped Erik's hand.
