"Not guilty" The crowd went silent and I couldn't hold back my excitement screaming yes in the air followed by I'm coming up and hugging me. The crowd left in disappointment knowing that they wanted him behind bars for good. Mycroft came up to us and smiled
"Welcome back brother." He smiled for once a genuine smile and helped us out to the car. Sherlock looked distressed when we got to the car he slumped over and calmed down. He relived himself to be free and not behind bars. I held his hand knowing that the trial was hard on him. He was stretched thinly for that trail and to be free, God knows what's going through his head right now.
"Mary can I just say that I'm so happy to be free and to know that your pregnant but I can't." He didn't look up for a single second as he spoke my head swimming with possibilities and sadness over what he meant.
"What do you mean?" I turned to look at him hoping he'd look back for recognition. Nothing
"Your pregnant and I can't deal with being a father not now I'm too unstable let alone I'm an arrogant prick." He stared out the window now and I could see his reflection. No emotion, he looked lifeless. "Why didn't you consult with me before blurting it out in court now it's going to be everywhere."
"Because I thought you'd be happy and the fact that I'm pregnant and I thought-"
"NO! You know what you didn't think!! You never think!!" he started to get flustered and grabbed at his hair releasing an awful growl.
"Are you even going to concider for one second that this baby is the reason your not rotting in a jail cell! That i'm the reason your not in jail?!" i screamed finding this new found courage, he seemed suprised as well
A/N I have no clue where to go with this story im so sorry to all of you lovely readers who cared enough to stick through. The date is April 1st 2020 and i've been in isolation for almost a whole month and i went on here because i wanted to write a story and i saw this here and i simply do not have it in me to continue.
