Endotuer was furious with his pet. He was also slightly impressed with how far he had gone to escape. He wasn't expecting the man to try while they were at the race tracks. It was his own fault really. When the tide had flowed in, he had continued with the training session. He had assumed the stables were locked so even if Kenneth was now mobile, he wouldn't be able to escape. It was only when he returned, when his students had been picked up by their masters, that he realised he was down a hippocampus pup.

Devious little human, Endotuer mused darkly as he contacted the council. He informed them of Kenneth's escape due to the high tide and hung up before they could make any comments. He had been humiliated by this. Kenneth was helpless outside of the water currently and the moment the environment had changed that Kenneth could move, he should have gone and secured his pet.

"When I get my hands on that pup," Endotuer growled to himself, visualising the shade of red that he was planning to turn Kenneth's white little arse. He couldn't kill or even really hurt the man too much but he could disciple him. Kenneth was completely within his rights to try to escape, to try to find the cure but there were limits.

Endotuer paused and smiled evilly. Kenneth was within his rights to do so but Endotuer was only oath-bound to allow one attempt. When he caught Kenneth, he would be able to keep him completely trapped until it was too late. Most likely the mer council would insist on it too which would mean going to some of the lower levels. Endotuer had a nice mansion on the lowest level that would do. It was a little dark but the tide was always in and had a nice array of rooms with chains to keep Kenneth trapped in. Ennitt could housesit his apartment on the upper level and everything would fall into place nicely.

Now he just had to find his pet. Tapping his desk, Endotuer considered his options. Kenneth was going to go to his lover, that much was for certain. That being said, the two men had lived higher than the tide level, even at high tide. Kenneth would have to find somewhere to shelter until nighttime. "Right then," Endotuer murmured out loud. "I promise you now Kenneth, my sweetheart. For every favour I have to use to find you, I will keep in chains an extra day," he grinned. It wasn't like Kenneth was going to magically reappear but Endotuer liked the idea.

Endotuer picked up a phone and called for Abisecaan. It was time to call in some favours.

Hours later Endotuer still hadn't found his troublesome pet. Abisecaan had taken the truth about Keni with a level-headed air. Abisecaan had been trained from a young age not to take things personally, especially when it came to secrets. The assassin had happily agreed to go hunt down Rico and wait for Kenneth to appear. Only, even after the tide had stopped rising, Kenneth had not appeared.

"Rico's just watching TV," Abi admitted on the phone. "There is no sign of Kenneth or even that Kenneth had attempted to make contact. Are you sure he left and he wasn't taken?"

"No, I checked the video of the stable. He broke out," Endotuer frowned, wondering just what Kenneth and up to.

"Stupid question but is there anything else Kenneth would want to do?" Abi asked. "Apart from apparently get his love's kiss. Unless Rico isn't his true love?" Abi said sounding almost excited by the prospect. Endotuer admitted he could see the appeal of such a twist on a love story but that wasn't the case here.

"Abi, I have spent the past week mentally joined to him. Trust me, there is no one to else. He loved Rico beyond anything most people experience. It's almost sickening how loyal Keni is to him," Endotur said dryly. "Just what is Rico watching?"
