Chapter 4

A/n: IM BACK BITCHES!!!

As I walked to my first period class someone wrapped their arm around my shoulders. I looked up and saw Joey. I took his arm and unwrapped it from around my shoulders and kept walking. Soon enough Joey was laughing.
"What?" I snapped.
"Nothing" He said innocently.
I rolled my eyes and continued to walk to first period. Soon enough he was laughing again.
"What!?" I said aggravated.
"You have something on your face" he laughed
"What?" I asked.
"I'm not telling you" he answered.
"Ugh you're so fucking annoying" I groaned walking into my class. I pulled out my phone and looked at the camera. Nothing was on my face what the hell was he talking about?

After School

I was walking home when someone walked up behind me. I turned around and Brielle was standing there with a smug look on her face. I rolled my eyes and said,
"What the hell do you want this time?" I asked.
She didn't answer. All she did was take her phone out of her pocket and show me her lock screen. It was of her and Joey kissing. Not surprised. But I felt something. Was it amusement? No. Was it a lovable feeling. Hell no. I think it was jealousy? But why? I'm not catching feelings ... am I?
"Ok so I see two idiots tongue wrestling, is that supposed to phase me" I laughed.
She huffed and then turned around and walked away. I kept walking home until I felt another presence behind me.
"What do you want Brielle!?" I screamed. But when I turned around it was Joey. I sighed and then kept on walking.
"Wow who shit in your fruit loops this morning" he laughed. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"My mom wants to know if you can babysit Kashius again tonight. She's going on a date with Drewski and needs someone to watch him. Obviously Sophia doesn't want to do it and I am just to irresponsible apparently so ... will you?"
"Sure why not I love your little brother he's so cute" I smiled.
"Dope" he answered.
"What time?" I asked.
"Ummm it's 3:15" he answered looking at his phone.
"No dumb ass what time should I come over" I laughed.
"Oh right I don't know I'll text you"
"Alright"

At Home

I walked into my house to see my mom and a guy cuddling on the couch. My jaw dropped, my mom never dated anyone after her and my dad split. It was the hardest time of my life.
"Oh sweetie this is Mark, Mark this is my daughter Kaitlyn" my mom smiled.
"Hello Kaitlyn Im Mark ... I think you need to change hunny you look a little, underdressed" he said standing up and putting his hand out for me to shake. Who the fuck does this guy think he is. He thinks he can just walk into my house and become my new dad. Hell to the no. This guy needs to leave.
I looked at his hand in disgust and stomped upstairs.
"KAITLYN!" My mom called to me as I slammed my door shut and locked it. I sat on my bed and cried. I was very close with my dad and when he left us I was crushed. All of a sudden my phone dinged.

Hoseph Balem: Hey you can come over around 5:30 to babysit?

Kaitlynnnn: Change of plans something happened and I can't babysit tonight I'm sorry ...

Hoseph Balem: Are you Alright?

Kaitlynnnn: I'm fine.

Hoseph Balem: You and me both know that's not true.

Kaitlynnnn: Why?

Hoseph Balem: Why What?

Kaitlynnnn: Why do you care all of a sudden?

Hoseph Balem: I don't know what your talking about

Kaitlynnnn: "You and me both know that's not true."

Hoseph Balem: I'm coming over
