A Broken Life

Intro

Emily is a pretty seventeen year old girl. She is tall and skinny, has long brown hair and brown eyes. Her body is average and she likes to dress casual. Not sluty, like other girls in her school. She has a lot of freinds but she is not popular.

She just started her senior year. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. Her parents are proud of her and what she has acomplished. She dosen't have a boyfreind, she feels that they are a distraction.

Her best freind Lily has one. She is the person that she tells all her secrets to. She is tall, skinny, long blond hair, blue eyes, very attractive. She also has a nice body and likes to dress sexy. Her skirts are to short and her blouses are to tight. Her boyfriends name is Sam.

Sam is tall and buff, all the girls fall for him. He is on the football team. His eyes are a deep blue ocean color and his hair is light blond. He is funny and romantic. I understand why Lily likes him so much. They been together for a while. Im going to say two weeks.

Emily arrives to school in her red honda civic and parks in the parking lot. There is a lot of empty spaces meaning that she is early, she likes to be early. She puts her car in park and turns off the ingniton. She sits there for a while and looks out the window as she rubs her eyes. She takes a sip of her Starbucks latte and feels the warmth enter her body.

She stayed up late last night studying. She looks at her watch and picks up her books from the pasenger seat. She grabs her coffe, opens the door and slams the door with her hip. She walks threw the school parking lot and into the front doors.

She walks down the hall and makes a right, she opens the classroom door and sees her teacher Mrs Layola. She says smiling "Good morning Emily". She says "Good morning Mrs. Layola". She takes her seat and opens her books.

She looks down at the letters trying to study some more. Then Lily walks in and sits in front of her. She turns around and says "Did you Study?". She says with a tired voice "Yea I was up all night studying". She ask "How about you?". Lily smiles and says "Kind of".

Emily looks at her with wide eyes. She says "Sam kept texting me." Then the bell rings, everyone starts to get roudy. Mrs. Layola stands up and says " Ok everyone settle down now. Its time to take a test". Some of the students groan and others get ready. She picks up a pack of papers from her desk and grabs a few, she hands them to the person in front. The person in front passes it to the person behind them.

She takes a seat and looks at the clock and says "You may start now, and good luck.". Some students start right away and others sit there. Emily looks at her paper and starts writing. Lily bites the end of her pencil nervously.

Half an hour goes by and Mrs. Layola says "Ok time is up. Put your pencils down and bring your papers to the front". Then the bell rings, everyone gets up quickly and hands in there papers and leave.

As Emily and Lily are walking down the hall. Emily ask "How was it?." Lily says "I think I didn't do great. How about you?". Emily says "I think I did all right". Then Lily gets a text, she looks down at her phone and smiles.
Emily ask " So what are you smiling about?". She says "Sam wants to take me out to dinner then to the movies".

He was waiting for her in the hallway. She says "Got to go, I'll see you later". She walks up to him and kisses him on the cheak. He takes her bagpack and puts it over his shoulder as they walk away.

Emily takes the last sip of her coffee and throws it in the trash. She walks into her next class and takes a seat by the window. She looks out and sees the sun shining, then the bell rings.

Minutes turned into hours, and hours turned into days. It seemed like she was there for entirnity. The bell rings and she walks quickly to her locker. She turns the combination lock and it opens. She puts her books inside and closes it. She jumps up when she sees Lily standing there. She says "You scared me". Lily laughs and says "Sorry, I need a ride home." Emily says "What happen to Sam?." She frowns and says "He had to stay for football practice".
