Some say intelligence is awareness
To be aware is to known more
To be aware I guess is to be human
Self awareness is what separates us
What can one do with awareness?
Time will pass second by second
Things will change, people will change
And as days turns to years, we will lose many things we hold dear
We cannot change where we are born, our family, city, or the world
We cannot change the form we hold, its burdens and joys
As we age we are unable to change the choices we made
But we are aware, and know it must be accepted
With awareness comes responsibility
We know we are responsible for our lives, and of those who are close
We know we can do something to make our lives better
That If we don't no one else will
What we can do is small but it matters
For we are aware that life is fleeting
