3 months was all it took!

3 months

I had never written poetry before,
But now I do
And that's for you,
Now, there's two.

You see life was never fair
And it still isn't.
All we were ever taught of was to try
And not to fight.

Fight wasn't the violence act they thought!
Fight was what they thought was a try.
Which I did for you, I fought for you!!
A couple of times I did, but you refused to see.

I had someone who loved me hard
With all his heart was what he said.
But I refused to love him back
Because you were whom I loved and cared.

3 months was all it took for me,
To fall for you, with all my heart.
If you only knew how true it was
I'm sure you'd feel the same way too.

They say, 'Two people fall apart to be one again'
And ever since I let you go
Never had I slept in peace.
I'm not complaining but the point is that you're all I need

Not sure if you see it
But one day you will.
You are all I ever wanted
Matter of fact you are everything I have ever asked for:
"A weirdo who is just as weird as me."

I remember when I told you, I love you!
But you said I was lying
And you needed proof.
Then, I had nothing but my love to pour.

If proof is what you want
Well then here it is,
A truth for you.
They say, 'At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet'

I laughed hard at it
For I thought it was a joke, but now I know it's true
To be a poet, You would have to have a gift
And that gift is LOVE.
