Chapter 4

There is no difference between a wise man and a fool when they fall in love

Axel POV:
" she has bruises all over her body, do you by any chance know why?" The doctor asked standing next to me as I looked at Annabella.
That made my blood boil. Who did this to her? I'm sure that it's not that guy on the street. It's has to be somebody else. That's what I'm going to ask her when she wake up.

"No, I don't" i replied going back to reality

I saw Annabella trying to get up but fell back down onto the bed. I ran to her.
" Annabella you need to rest. Your body is to weak to do anything." I said concerned
" wh-er-e" she tried to speak but her voice came out raspy from the lack of water so I gave her water that was on the night stand, she drank it and gave it back to me.

" where am I? What happened? Why are you here? What time is it? Oh my god my parents are going to kill me" she asked all in one breath. How can someone say all that in one breath?

I just chuckled and said" take a breath, you ask lots of questions, I will tell you everything you want, but first I want you to try and remember" I said looking at her.

She opened her mouth to tell me that she don't remember anything. But then from the look on her face I knew that she started to remember.

" you were the on that helped me?" She asked sounding shocked. Why is she shocked that I helped her? Does she think I am bad? I would do anything for her. Call me whipped. But she is my queen.

" why so shocked? And yes I was the one who saved you, now tell me why is there bruises all over your body and don't dare lie to me and tell me that is was from that guy in the street because I know that he didn't beat you he chocked you only," i said sternly.

" I can't, they will hurt you and me" she whispered looking me in the eye.
No one is going to hurt my queen I will kill them before the even think about touching a hair from her head again.

"No one going to get hurt other than them," i snapped. Then guilt coated my me as I saw her move away from me looking scared. I didn't mean to snap at her I was just angry at the people that hurt her. As I left my hand to touch her cheek, she put her hand in front of her face in a defending position and closed her eyes. did she think I was going to hit? Was she scared of me? As I slowly let my hand reach for her cheek she opened her eyes staring at me in confusion.

" you thought that I was going to hit you? I would never hurt you in any way princess, I just want to know who did that to keep you safe, so please tell me," I asked softly looking into her eyes while rubbing my thumb on her cheek.

"But just to warn you if I tell you this you might get hurt after, so it's my parents who did that. We used to be a happy family, me, mom, dad, and my big brother. It was the day I turn 15 I woke up thinking that my brother is coming any second to tell me happy birthday, but as I waited nobody came so I went to my brother's room to find him not there and I found out that his things were not there as I went to find mom and dad, they were sitting in the kitchen angry looking as I walked in my dad came right to me and started hitting me saying that my brother left us because of me. From that day until yesterday I have been abused by my parents." As she finished talking. I just stared at her lots of thoughts going through my mind how could parents do that to their child and why did her brother leave her?
She looked up from her hand and as her blue eyes locked with my brown ones but I looked away unable to look in it afraid to see the sorrow and depression in it. I stood up from the bed and said "i need to go, I will tell my sister to come here and help you get cleaned up," and I got out of the room walked down the hall to my sister's (Kayla) room. As I reached her room, I knocked on the door. And then stepped back waiting for the door to open.
I heard shuffling behind the door and then the door opened and Kayla piped her head out as she saw me a smile stretched on her face. "hola hermano, quieres algo?"(Hello brother, you want something?) she asked a smile still on her face.

" I need a favour," I said scratching my neck.

The smile that was on her face quickly vanished as I said that.

"Don't tell me that there is a whore in your bed and you want me to go and scare her so she can leave you alone. Didn't I tell you that you have to take full responsibility of that because I'm not going to help you this time." She snapped irritated

" what? no, and it only happened once. The favour that I want is that I have my uhh... um ... friend in my room and she had had a rough time yesterday so I was hopping if you could go and help her get cleaned up. And make sure that she don't go home and to get good rest." I said

"Okay, fine I'll do it," she agreed

"Great, thank you," i said then went to the stairs. I fetched out my phone from my pocket and called Grayson,
"Hello boss," Grayson said as he answered

"Grayson I want you to come meet me at the house and bring Brandon with you I want him to find me a place. we have something to take care of." I ordered.

"Right away boss," he said then hang up.

As I reached the end of the stairs I went to the kitchen to wait for Grayson to come.

As I went through the double doors I saw Austin there cutting vegetables probably preparing dinner for the guys.

"You know I could always bring a Chef you don't need to prepare dinner for us." I suggested

He turned around to look at me, " no need to bring a chef, I enjoy cooking so why not cook for you guys," he said shrugging

Then the double doors opened and in came Grayson, he looked around probably searching for me.
" boss" he started calling " boss, where are you?" He staid while looking at the spot next to me but still not seeing me,
I didn't know he became blind.

" look here you idiot," i said impatiently

He then looked at me confused. " boss didn't you here calling for you? and how did you come in the kitchen without coming through the double doors first?" He asked looking dumbfounded

" Grayson, just shut up," I ordered

Then came Brandon into the kitchen with his laptop.
" where exactly do you want me to find boss?" He asked sitting on the counter opening his laptop

"I want you to find Annabella White House," i ordered, he then started typing on his laptop

" got it," he said after five minutes of typing.

" lets go," i ordered

The three of us hoped in my car. As Brandon told me where to go we finally arrived there.

As we got out of the car. I knew that I needed to tell them why we are here.

" the people that live in here a two Married couple in their four-ties, they are Annabella's parents, but the were abusing her so I came here to take them with me and show them how much it hurts to get hit every single day," i explained.
They nodded there head and then went to break down the house door. As they broke it down. We went inside to find Annabella's parents sitting on the couch watching tv. As they noticed us her father pushed her mother in front of him and ran out of the house from the back door. Grayson and Brandon ran after him as I took Annabella mother who was still in shock but as I started to get her to the car she started to resist but as she discovered that she was no match with me she gave up.

" I couldn't catch him," said Grayson as he came from the back door and came after him Brandon.
"Just leave him, we'll get him later," I said.
Then I put Annabella's mother in the back seat and Brandon sat next to her as I sat in driver seat and Grayson next to me in the passenger seat.

As I drove back to home, I thought of a way to how I'm going to tell Annabella that she can't go back to her house that she need to stay with me now because she is my queen now. But as I arrived to my house I still didn't know how.

I took Annabella's mother from the car and threw in the cells that are under the mansion and went to my room to go check up on Annabella.
