A single snowflake was
Drifting through the wind
Flying
Floating
Gracefully falling
Onto a leafless branch
On a tree
Joining the rest of it's kind.
Seen by a faraway lens of a telescope
Clutched in the hand of an old astronomer
Who sighed contently at the view.
