Aaron's Pov

I groaned frustrated as I scribbled over the wrong equation I made on my math homework. I eventually crumpled the thin paper and tossed it into the wast basket in the corner of my room. Forget homework, it's bad enough I have to stay at school for 6-7 hours a day.

I laid my head on my desk and when I closed my eyes she appeared in the back of my mind. Her smile as she ran up to her friends, the gestures she makes when she's talking about something she likes. I let out a deep breath and rose from my desk and went out of my room then downstairs to the kitchen.

I got a glass of water and drank it down quickly.

"Why is this bothering me so much?" I sighed to myself as I ran a hand through my hair.

This girl, she is in the same class as I am..or well, first period. The only other times we meet is sometimes at lunch or in the halls. Not once have we talked but she is avoiding me and it is really making me frustrated. Did I do something to offend her? Is she mad at me for some reason?

I went back up to my room and threw myself into my bed. I buried my face in my pillow and her image flashed through my mind again. She has been avoiding me...ever since the day of the arcade. Does she hate me?

"What did I do to be hated!?" I yelled to myself and hugged my pillow to my face tighter.

I began to panick as I began to suffocate myself and threw my pillow away from me. I gasped for air and groaned.

"Death by pillow." I whispered to myself.

I let out another sigh for the millionth time and layed back down. I'll find out tommorrow....definitely. I don't know her name though..oh, but during lunch she always hangs out either with the vollyball club or that berch tree behind the school...maybe I'll check there.

***Monday***

Once again, after first period I was avoided like the plauge. She ran away as fast as she could and turned the corner. I took a deep frustrated breath and gathered my books. Lunch, I would try to find her during lunch.

I attended another class and decided to skip my next class. I went to the roof to take a nap because I didn't get too much sleep last night. I was too busy thinking why she was avoiding me and that just made me more mad and then suddenly the sun was coming up.

I sat against the metal fence surrounding the roof and closed my eyes hoping to sleep for the next class but of course that was interrupted.

"Aaron! Why are you hear?" A girls voice flooded my ears and I opened my eyes.

"Trying to sleep Ivy. No thanks to you." I rubbed my eyes.

(A/N, Ivy is nice-somewhat in this story.)

"Oh quit whining. It's pretty rare for you to skip and be so mean." Ivy laughed and sat next to me.

I turned my head to face her, "I'm exhausted and very bothered. A girl I don't even know seems to hate me and I have no idea what I did wrong."

"Maaaybe...it's just your horrible personality?" Ivy giggled.

"I'm being serious here Ivy." I groaned at her insult.

I don't have a bad personality. It's just because I am annoyed. This is bothering me so much for no reason. I get ignored all the time because people say I always look like I am glaring or I never talk much...so why does this certain person avoiding me make me so mad?

"Hi serious pffft," Ivy snorted, "I'm Ivy."

I was this close to wanting to jump off this room to escape this girl. I couldn't keep a serious face anymore and laughed.

"You are so annoying." I laughed.

"You love it and you know it!" Ivy smiled big and shoved her hand into my face and pushed me away.

I swatted her hand away and laughed.

DO NOT GET ME WRONG Ivy is not my girlfriend or anything close to that! Ew. She is a childhood friend who I find very...horribly annoying.

Aphmau's pov

Finally it was lunchtime! I got myself a tray of weird cardboard tasting pizza from the lunchroom and hurried to the spot where Laurence and I were supposed to eat lunch together.

I waited 5 minutes and began to pout for he hadn't shown up yet. I had already finished my weird pizza and called Laurence.

"Laurence!" I yelled into the phone as soon as it was answered.

"Aphmau! I am so so sorry! I got caught up with a surprise soccer test and now I can't escape or the coach will throw me out of the game. I'll make it up to you tomorrow and buy you any snack from the lunchroom." Laurence explained.

"Fine. Deal." I giggled.

We said our goodbyes and I hung up. I began to check my notifications as I relaxed under the nice bright green berch tree. The leaves rustled in the wind and I closed my eyes feeling relaxed. At this rate I could almost fall asleep.

I began to hear the sound of rustling grass in front of me and my heart began to race. My eyes shot open and my mind told me to run but I was frozen where I was sitting.

My throat felt on fire as the heavy breathing Aaron stood in front of me. He looked like he was just running. He got closer and I fell to the left but couldn't stand to run. This is bad!!! This is so so bad!!

"Quit running from me!" I was suddenly pulled up to my feet and his arms were on both sides of my head blocking me from any escape.

My eyes were wide and I covered my mouth. My chest began to throb as he stood feriously in front of me. His sharp eyes were as dark as shadows and were piercing into me.

I was frozen in fear. I couldn't run now. He is going to find out about the Hanahaki disease and then he'll really find me weird. He will hate me definitely.
