"I should have prepared for this, i mean yes, i know i went over the script about 600 times last night, but i still don't feel confident." i say to myself as i'm sitting back stage, with 5 mins till curtain of my first ever play. i grab my inhaler out of my bag, i shake it, and put it up to my lips...
"nervous?" i look up to see shawn walking towards me, i set down my inhaler.
"yeah, a little bit," i smile at him as he sits next to me and he puts his hand on my shoulder.
ok, ok. ok. shawn and i have been friends since day care, i've always liked him, however he just looks at me as a bestfriend. UGH.
"how many times did you look over your script last night allison?"
"about 600 times"
we both chuckle and stand up.
"you'll do fine. i promise you." he hugs me and walks off to go sit with his whôre girlfriend rachel.

John comes back too tell me there are 2 mins left till curtain and to get in my place on stage ..

the curtains draw.
"my sweet love, whom i love dearly, one last chance i beg of you!!"
"i'm sorry, but i deserve better than the one who cheats," ok wow i'm doing ok so far.
"but-"
"but nothing tyler, walk off--" shit, i start to forget the rest of my line. i hear 'tyler' whispering something to me, however i can't make it out. next thing i know i had passed out on the stage.
