"ALEXANDRIA!" I heard my stepdad shout
*I grabbed a pillow from beside me and covered my head.*
*Knocking on the door*
"DO NOT MAKE ME COME IN THERE"
I hated when George,my stepdad, acted like he was my father.
*Door opens*
Oh lord
"Why are you in my room" I asked
"It's 6am your mother is tired of getting phone calls from your teachers about your tardiness."
*I got out of bed, stood up, and glared at George*
I wish he wouldn't talk about things he didn't know. I wanted to scream at him and tell him that mom never cared about how I was feeling or how my life is going after dad died so why should I care if she's tired of getting phone calls because I fucking stayed up doing homework so I wouldn't fail senior year.
but all I said was
"Well then leave so I can get ready"
"Alright" George smirked
"And you should wear those shorts more often, they make your ass look hot."
George is the definition of asshole it's like the word was created for him. He usually says inappropriate things like that to me and I think my mom knows, or she doesn't care as long as he's living here and paying for the house.
"Get Out!"
*George turns to leave*
"And hey!" I holler
"My name is Alex" I corrected him
*I shut the door in his face*
I don't have a car of my own and I couldn't walk to school because there was some shooting crime scene going on on my usual route so George drove me to school. I'm a 17 year old girl turning 18 in less than 2 weeks who doesn't have a car or her license. So lame.
*In the car*
"So, do you have a boyfriend?" George asked
The different route was at least 25-30 minutes away from school. I was not about to sit in here and talk about my love life with George, talk about anything with George really.
"Let's not, George. It's none of your business" I snap
"You know, you should start calling me Dad maybe even Daddy" he suggests
*I cringe at the thought, plug in my ear buds, and tune him out until we're at the school*
