This is Squidward, our dauchsund/labrador/whippet mix. We call him Squidward because he's got a messed up lower jaw. It was undeveloped when he was born and just never grew in. Because of this, he has trouble eating hard food. He also has to deal with his pesky older brother...

This little monster is Midnight, our Dauchsund/Labrador mix. Midnight is the source of my anger. Midnight likes to break his bedroom door down and escape while we're out of the house (Squid doesn't leave. Squid is a good dog.). Midnight likes to bite my hand. Midnight likes to use the bathroom in the house. Midnight is a monster. But he's my monster, and although I didn't pick him out in the first place, and I bet his previous owners are glad he's gone, I love him. Begrudgingly. While cleaning up pee and barricading his door and nursing my wounded hand.
