The student council had just announced that they would held a prom night next month. Upon hearing the big news, a lot of students got excited except myself. Whenever I hear the word prom, usually the first thing that would come up on my mind is dancing. Which also happen to be one of the things that I hate the most. 

I know what you're thinking, I'm actually not a bad dance but I just absolutely hate slow dances. But hey the thing that I'm most looking forward to prom is food. Everyone loves food. I mean, who doesn't?

"Hey, Y/N!", I heard one of my friends call after me.

I turned around and looked at him, it was Jungkook, "Hey!", I high fived him.

"Have you heard?", he started and smiled.

I scoffed at him, "You mean the prom night that would be held?", I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Hell yeah", he exclaimed loudly, not caring if the teachers even heard him swearing in the hallways. He looked over to me with his eyebrows furrowed together when I didn't show not even slight interest on our topic, "Aren't you even excited?", he asked me.

I casually shrugged my shoulders at his question, "I don't know. You know prom nights are not my thing", I told him which made him chuckle.

"There would be a cotillion, you know that right?", he says and gently patted my back, either comforting me or teasing me.

I groaned once again, "Don't remind me about it", I jokingly threatened the taller boy.

"And it seems like the professor already paired up the students for the cotillion dance", he added and I saw him smirk.

I stared at him in disbelief, "Wait what? Are you serious?", I asked him and he nodded. "How did you know about that?", I continued, still not convinced with what he was saying.
