This is in my Voltron Crack book as well, go check it out if you haven't already.  I have seen a few posts here and there but I've never read any actual theories about this so I'm going to make one.  Here we go:

Pidge has a crush on Lance.  Boom.

Now I know there are some die hard Klance and Shidge shippers out there which is perfectly fine but just hear me out.

First piece of evidence: the pilot episode.
During the first episode, everyone believes that Pidge is a boy.  However, that doesn't stop her from noticing guys, Lance in particular.  One thing we know is that Pidge is a very sarcastic person, and I don't know about you guys, but I typically use sarcasm with people I like (minus family) such as friends and *cough* crushes *cough*.  If I recall correctly Pidge was very sarcastic when dealing with Lance in the flight simulator.  Plus, look at how proud she is when she tells Lance that she built her equipment all by herself:

Seems a bit flirtatious if you ask me.

Another thing: Pidge gets jealous.
This is something I've noticed on several different occasions. Again: the first episode. After Shiro's pod crashes on Earth, Pidge, Lance, and Hunk go to get a closer look from a rock cliff. Lance is looking around the scene with binoculars until he zooms in on a female soldier. Then Pidge curses him and punches him in the arm. She also looks a little annoyed when they first meet Allura and Lance notices how beautiful she is. And she is kinda short (pun not intended) with her until she gets to know her a little better (because of the jealousy).

I have even more evidence so I'm definitely gonna upload a part 2 for this. So until then just keep in mind what I've said the next time you watch Voltron and you'll notice it too.
