RWBY OC GUIDELINES AND TIPS

List of Clichés

Here are some common clichés I will try and cover overtime, but probably not in order:

- Faunus OCs who are for some reason more special or have more than one animal trait (specifically cats, bunnies, dragons, wolves, and the dreaded Grimm)

- Any relations to canon characters
EX. Yang and Ruby's long lost sister, Weiss's unheard of sister, Coco's badass bro, etc

- Overused weapons and over 3 forms (Blake is the only canon character with that many, it's kinda an unspoken rule)
EX. Scythes, katanas, dual swords/pistols, etc

- Obscure looks

- Overpowered semblances

- Breaking of Monty Oum's, whom will always be missed, colour rules

- Cheesy or unrealistic team names (all of which I've seen, might I add. No names though)
EX. FATE, LOVE, HOPE, EDGE, etc

- OC being the dreaded fifth RWBY or JNPR or whatever member

- Being close friends with or dating a canon character

- OCs that destroy canon

- That one OC that is a rip off of canon characters

- OC that is younger or as young as RWBY

And much much more! Go ahead and suggest which ones I should do first or whatnot, if you would like.
