Of which brave king was Gandharvsen.
Angel like princess took birth, in the arms of true wisdom.
"Padmaavati" the beautiful name princess was given.
Whole Kingdom echoed with happiness and name princess padmaavati.

Years passed and princess grew young,
She was extremely beautiful like a girl from heaven.
Caring father doesn't wanted her closeness with anyone,
To lonely daughter he gifted talking parrot hiraman.
Soon parrots talk won the heart of princess padmaavati,

King resented parrots closeness to his daughter,
I want this parrot killed, its my order.
Feared princess freed parrot to flyaway,
I love you cutie, save your life, run runaway.
Princess i dont want to go, but i will with a promise,
Soon i will come back and along with me will be your dream Prince.
Saying goodbye parrot flee, leaving princess again lonely.

Leaving royal fort, parrot flew very high,
Crossing the sea, he entered Indian sky.
Flying here & there for almost half a year,
One day unfortunately he was caught by a hunter.
Amazed by parrots capability of speaking,
He sold it for good price to a brahmin.
As a owner of speaking parrot brahmin felt very lucky,

Chittorgarh, the royal fort of raja ratan singh,
Where brahmin was invited for special meeting.
Parrots impressive talk when king heard,
At any cost i wish to have this bird.
Brahmin proudly handed over his sweet little cute,
Who's new house become the heart of king of rajputs.
King i am hiraman, a pet of princess padmaavati,
And how i reached here is a intresting story.

Who is princess padmaavati? king asked with curiosity,
Parrot deeply praised the princess mesmerizing beauty.
Hearing parrot's description of princess beauty & his story,
King Ratan singh got determined to meet princess & marry.
He left his Kingdom as ascetic with 16000 Army's,
Bird leaded them to island Kingdom crossing 7 seas.
This message was carried by hiraman to Princess padmaavati,
And first meeting was planned at the beautiful temple of shivparvati.

Anyhow for temple, princess managed getting father's permission,
She reached as planned but returned untalked due to heavy restriction.
princess started longing for him & king was also not ready to go back.
Raja Ratan Singh declared, get ready we have to attack.
Diguised as ascetics, king and followers attacked the fortress,
Raja Ratan singh got successful in reaching near princess.
But he and his followers were captured by king Gandharvsen,
As a punishment Ratan singh and followers were given lifetime prison.
King lauded, i did all this only for princess padmaavati,
I wish to marry princess padmaavati.

Gandharvsen ordered his soldiers to execute Ratan singh,
Princess opposed his father,shouted stop! i love him.
Soon his intelligent bard, revealed Ratan Singh's real indentity,
On Gandharvsen's approval he got married to princess padmaavati.
