(Ellie's pov)

I saw a blinding light, waking me up from what feels like a short dream of nothing. As I opened my eyes, I saw my mum and dad looking over, my mum closer on my left whilst my dad was on my right.

"Ellie? are you ok hun?" she asks. I just look at her. I tried to say words but I didn't feel my jaw move at all

"Nod if you can hear us" dad said. I managed to nod

"Thank god he had got us in time" my mum said to my dad

"Yeah" he said finally agreeing that harry at least did one thing right

"Ok Ellie, I want you to try and talk" Dad said trying to get my body up and moving

"Don't try big words and long sentences, something small will do" mum said making it clearer of what to do. I already knew what to do but I could see in her eyes that she looked frightened. I opened my mouth to talk and croaky words came out

"I'm fine" I said. I saw mum and dad look at each other and I knew that something wasn't right, especially because I could see the worry in dads face. I saw him stand up and walk around the room.

"Helen I can't tell her" he said

"Tell me what?" I managed to say trying to sit up. I started coughing and I watched a glass of water from the side of my drawers move closer towards me.

"How did that?" I said in between coughs

"You need to stay calm" my mum said grabbing the glass and putting it back on the drawers as if it were normal. I looked around the room and noticed Harry in the corner of the room with his arms folded and his right leg slightly bent over his left leg so it looked like he was leaning on the wall. I remembered that I could be the only one to see him in the room because they didn't have the right power. I saw how mum saw me looking into a empty corner and tried to catch my attention

"Ellie?" she said. I saw how Harry looked up towards me and saw how I was looking at him. I saw how his face looked relieved and I saw a little smile on his face. I Started coughing again and I saw his face change into worry.

"What was it you wanted to tell me?" I said which made me stop coughing

"There's been a problem: when Harry died, his power left his body and now normally their power goes into a stash of dead vampire powers but for some weird reason his didnt. We have attempted to speak to him and he didn't even click on that you had his power" mum said and then dad carried on

"What's happening is is Harry's power is clashing with your witch powers. Those two type of powers were never meant to be brought together so what is happening is they are fighting for dominance and that's why your so ill and tired and we can see It's making you weaker by the second"

"What's going to happen me?" I asked worriedly

"We have two options: we could either bring Harry back to life which would mean his power would automatically go back into his body" mum said before getting interrupted by dad

"Or we can try and pass the power to another person" dad said trying to put the second option out there but I had already made up my mind

"I'm obviously going to bring Harry back to life" I said stating the obvious

"However, your father has a few issues with that option" she said sounding slightly annoyed.

"I would rather not bring a vampire back to life" he said being blunt

"But it means your daughter will be healthy again" mum said debating him

"There are other ways" he said testifying

"The 'other ways' are going to take longer and we don't have that kind of time" mum said

"What does that mean?" I asked. I saw mums face and she looked like a schoolgirl when her enemy finds out that She has been talking about her behind her back.

"We've got to tell her now" dad said

"Tell me what?" I asked again but it took them a few glances and a bit of time to answer me. I saw dad roll his eyes before answering me.

"The two powers aren't just making you ill, they're actually killing you"
