Chapter 1

NOTE BEFORE THIS BEGINS

I wrote this story when I was 13. I swear, I had a good plot in mind but I couldn't get it across because I lacked as a writer in the time I wrote this. Forgive me, 여르분. I hope you enjoy!

Ace (2004)

"Noona!" Ahn Yi yelled as he ran on the street.

"Dongsaeng! Look out!"

I ran towards my brother and shielded him from the car, but he forced himself to go in front of me and got hit by the impact of the car.

When I woke up, I was surrounded by my older sister, my mother, and my father.

"Where is Ahn Yi Eomma?"

My mom sadly smiled with tears in her eyes.

"Ahn Yi saved you Ahn Shin. He saved you."

"What do you mean Eomma?"

My mother looked at my father and then cried in my sister's arms.

"Appa.... What happened to Ahn Yi?"

"Ahn Yi.... Ahn Yi is one of the stars now..."

I couldn't believe what I just heard. My seven year old self slowly started to crumble.

"Eomma... is Ahn Yi.. gone forever?"

"N-ne...."

(2017 June)

I woke up from my dream and started to breathe heavily. I never got over my brother's death.. It still hurts me so much.

"Ace!"

I looked at my door and saw my Unnie, Ahn Ji standing there with her arms crossed.

"You okay?"

"Ne... I'm okay."

"Good. Arasseo. Get up. You'll be late." She said and left.

I got up from my comfortable bed and started to get ready.

"Unnie..."

"Mweo?"

"Nevermind. I'll be going now."

Unnie barely nodded and I got out of the car. I closed the door and she sped off.

I sighed deeply and walked into the tall, white building that read "Fantagio".

"Annyeong!" A blonde-haired boy greeted.

I nodded at him and he smiled brightly.

"I'm Yun Sanha, a member of Astro. You must be a Noona."

"Do I look that old to you?"

"Aniyo. You look about.... Three years older than me. I was born in 2000."

"Well, you're close. I'm two years older than you."

"Ahhhh arasseo. What's your name Noona?"

"Ace."

"Ahhh! You're Do Ahn Shin right?? Ohhh... you're our personal assistant!!"

"So I've been told."

"So.. Noona... I'll introduce you to my hyungs. Gaja!"

Sanha led me to a tall escalator and we stepped onto it.

"Noona.. when is your birthday?"

"April 5."
