at a big house- not mansion:

naina came downstairs looking so beautiful with her high ponytail and cream blouse, black jeans and black long boots to complete the look. she was about to eat when her little niece aliya came.

aliya: maasi!

naina: meri jaan.

she picks her up and kisses her cheek.

naina: now maasi's kiss?

aliya kisses naina's cheek and naina smiles and puts her down. just then her jiju and did came-om and gauri better known as rikara.

gauri: kaise hai meri behna?

naina: i'm fine didi. aur meri chotu?

gauri: chotu?

gauri: oh tera chotu, aapka chotu is fine.

aliya: mummy, daddy.

she hugs them and om lifts her up.

she kisses his cheek and om smiles.

om: meri princess, today no school?

aliya: i ill.

om checks her forehead and then kisses it.

om: someone is lucky.

aliya: sach mein?

om nods and says: yu're ill.

naina: aww meri jaan is ill. how sad? oh well, at least i can have ice cream by myself today.

she hugs om's neck and buries her head in the crook of his neck.

gauri and naina: how rude?

they all laugh.

naina: arre didi, why are you standing??? sit down.

gauri does as told and naina feeds her food and then gauri feeds her food. then naina goes out of the house and goes on her motorcycle.

she starts it and after 10 minutes, reaches her university. her friends, shreya and meghna sees her parking and rushes towards her.

shreya and meghna: finally! humari jaan is here.

naina: yes i'm here. how long have you guys been here?

shreya: for at least 40 minutes.

naina: sachi?!

they nod.

naina: and lectures haven't started yet?!

meghna: not yet.

naina: that's good. sorry if i was late. you know family.

meghna: it's no problem kyunki we all know in the entire uni, your family is the most cutest. your niece, aliya, she is my bestie.

shreya: oh hello! she is my bestie first.

naina: oh excuse me you two! she is my niece meaning she is my bestie only.

they laugh realizing how silly they were. just then the bell rang meaning it was time to go to lectures. the trio started to walk and just then naina bumped into someone. a man. she was about to fall when he held her.

they had an eyelock but naina broke it by her voice.

naina: oh hello! mr whatever! let go of me!

he brings her back up and naina flicks her hair.

naina: who are you? new teacher? oh! oh my god, i am so so sorry. sorry masterji.

the girls laugh and they go. the man rolls his eyes.

man: she really think i am that old to be 'masterji'?!

first lecture:

the girls sat next to each other with naina and meghna either side of shreya and got their books out. just then the real masterji came in with the boy naina bumped into.

naina whispering: look, humari new masterji.

shreya whispering: oh naina!

she giggles.

masterji: good morning students.

students: good morning masterji.

master: so students, we have a new boy in our class and his name is called karan chauhan.

karan: hi guys!

students but naina: hi karan.

shreya whispering: wow haven't realized before but he is so handsome.

meghna whispering: exactly!

naina smacks her forehead and felt stupid called the new boy masterji.

masterji: so karan, sit next to naina sharma.

naina looks sad and karan sits next to her. her friends get into dreamland as of karan and naina is like 'god, save me!'

naina in mind: i guess that's karma.
