______________

After babysitting his mom's friend's daughter, Harry had to walk back home.
The little girl he had to babysit - Emma: a sweetheart in Harry's opinion - kept him longer than he should've stayed.

Harry couldn't say no, but it was late and dark outside.
The boy didn't enjoy darkness; it scared him.
He was afraid of it, because he couldn't see past it; people liked scaring Harry to get reactions they wish could film.

That night, as he took short and quick steps towards his home, a car drove slowly behind him.
Harry got scared and immediately started walking faster, thinking it was a bunch of guys trying to make fun of him.

As the car reached Harry, its window rolled down and the boy was met by a woman.
Shocked and surprised, Harry looked at her as she looked at him.

"Do you need a-anything?", he nervously asked.
"I have some sweets for you.", she simply said taking out of her pocket: a lollipop and gummy bears, Harry's favourites.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I can't take them.", his feet continued to walk on the street, and as soon as he started, the car drove beside him slowly.

"Sweetheart.", Harry's heart started beating faster at the sweet word coming from her pink lips.
"Hey baby boy, stop.", she told him sweetly and as soon as the words escaped her lips, Harry remained immobile.

"You'll make me very sad if you don't take them, baby.", Harry looked shyly at the woman, whose small smile never seemed to fade.
"J-Just one.", he told himself quietly, picking the red gummy bear and guiding it towards his mouth.

"You can take as many as you want.", the street lights started getting brighter as the night became darker.
Harry wanted to pick another gummy bear, but its colours didn't convince him.

"What's wrong, love?", she asked him and Harry's gaze was fixed on the street underneath his boots.
"I-I don't like these.", Harry said quietly.
"Why, baby?"
"I-I only like the red ones.", the boy's face turned a lovely shade of red and the woman chuckled slightly.

"I have so many gummy bears at home, love.", Harry's eyes widened.
"Red ones?", the woman nodded as her eyes sparkled in happiness.
Harry thought.

"B-But quickly, please. My m-mum fell asleep, a-and she'd like to see me in the morning.", his fingers played with his short nails as he whispered the words.

"Of course, baby.", she got out of her car, looking at the boy in front of her with adoration in her eyes.
She opened the door of the passenger seat and told Harry to get in, buckled the seatbelt and afterwards closed the dark door.

"W-What's your name?", Harry asked gently and the woman smiled.
"My name is Olivia, baby boy.", Harry's lips formed a small smile.
"I like your name.", he moved his legs a little and Olivia smiled at the pretty boy she had in the backseat.

"How old are you, love?", she asked him and stopped in front of a red light.
"I'm seventeen years old.", he said proudly.
"And you?", Olivia sighed slightly and the traffic light turned green again.
"Twenty-nine.", Harry gasped and Olivia's eyes looked at him through the small mirror.
"That's so cooool.", another sigh escaped Olivia's lips, and after that, for a few minutes it was quiet. The only noise coming from outside; the cars driving by.
