Zindagi riwayaton mein ulajh gayi, ( Life is entangled in traditions)
Khushiyan bebasiyon mein simat gayi,( Happiness is engulfed into helplessness)
Mehsus karti rahi hawaon ko, (I could feel the breeze)
Par saans lena bhul gayi,(but I forgot to breathe)
Dekh sakti hu khula asman, ( I could see the open sky)
Par udne ki chah dil mein dafan hokar reh gayi....( But ambition to fly is buried into the heart)
Janti thi ek din tu chod jaayega mujhe ( I knew one day you will abandon me)
Phir bhi tera har sitam pyaar samajh kar seh gayi, ( Still your every atrocity was accepted as your love,)
