  — for no one

Because at the end of the day, he's still in love with ex-girlfriend.
And maybe falling in love with him was a huge mistake.

You're that infamous friend of the group who was the expert when it came to love and one's love life, but here's the catch: you've never actually been in a relationship, period. You were also that infamous friend of the group who had no boyfriend since birth whatsoever.

Meanwhile, victim #1, Park Jimin, was that hopeless romantic of the group who's heart still belongs to none other than his ex-girlfriend. And so the boys put two and two together because that's obviously the best thing to do.

To you, this was a bad idea. To you, Park Jimin had a huge red light flashing at the top of his head as a warning. To you, he was a threat because not only is he drop-dead gorgeous but because he was so out of your league.

But in all reality, there were many other reasons why you were just not ready to commit to a significant other. But there was only one reason that explains why you've got your heart so closed and shut out from everything and everyone.

You've learned that looking for love is the stupidest, most useless thing you've ever done in your whole entire life. Why? Because looking for love will only have you disappointed and hurt in the end.

All of your friends are currently in relationships, and while they're all kissing their partner's' faces off, you're too busy inwardly moping over how you're still single and will probably be single for the rest of your life. This is what you hated the most, hanging out with your friends who were already in relationships. Why? Because it was that reminder of how painfully single you are and how you've been this way since the day you came out of your mother's womb.

On top of that, the last person you'd ever want to be matched up with is the boy who's still stupidly in love with his ex-girlfriend. Thanks a lot, Jeon Jungkook, because obviously Jimin is over his ex-girlfriend and is ready to commit to a sob story like me.

Day 136.

It's been 136 days since you've met Jimin and many more since he's broken up with his ex-girlfriend. The both of you decide to spend this day at the park with hourly-rented bicycles and a picnic for two.

"I can't believe you learned how to bike when you were in the eleventh grade!"

Jimin laughs at you as he gets onto his bike while you roll your eyes at him. Although there were many firsts, your most recent 'first' was learning how to ride a bike when you were a junior in high school. "Stop making fun of me, ramen head."

"It's Jimin, (Y/N). Park Jimin." He says softly while ruffling your hair. You pout, fixing your hair before getting onto your bike. "This is sweet, we get to have these for an hour?"

"For two, since we paid for two hours." You shrug your shoulders, "it wouldn't be fun if we used these bikes for one hour, we have the whole park to explore!"

And off you both go, biking around the park like university students dying to go back to their years of youth.

After two hours of biking throughout the whole park, the two of you have settled onto the grass to prepare your picnic. While he places the picnic blanket onto the grass, you dig through the basket for your sandwiches and bottles of water. Turning over your shoulder, you already see him falling back against the blanket with his eyes glancing up at the blue skies.

"Tired, already?" He nods his head.

You smile and place the sandwiches on the blanket for the both of you to eat. You open yours and take your first bite, looking up at the clouds. He places an arm behind his head, and while you take one quick glance at him, you find yourself beginning to stare at him.

You knew it was a huge mistake to hang out with him because you knew that you'd end up falling in love with him. And you did. But you weren't selfish enough to put your feelings before his, especially when his heart still belongs to her.

"It's been two hundred and forty-six days," he says with closed eyes. You raise an eyebrow questioningly, taking another bite of your sandwich.

"Are you still in love with her?" You question him only to snort. "I mean, if you've still kept count of the days until now, the answer should be pretty obvious—"

"Just a little," he cuts you off and opens one eye to look at you. "I feel like I've made progress. I don't think about her as often. I don't think about how things would've happened if she didn't meet him."

"Do you think that someday you'd be over her?"

He falls silent, and you stare at him. His eyes are incredibly difficult to read, but they looked far from the usual crescents that shaped his brown orbs in the most innocent and genuine way possible. He shrugs his shoulders.

"Maybe," he mumbles softly before glancing at you.

And that conversation dies away just like all those times you've tried to change his mind, show him the world through your own eyes, and maybe make him worth the wait.

But he just can't, and you know he can't. At least not now.

You've fallen asleep with your back lying on the grass. Jimin looks at you and slowly smiles before pulling out his phone to take a quick picture. But before he takes the picture, he stops, looking at your sleeping figure through the screen.

"Come on, noona, just go out on the blind date!" Jungkook whines and you fold your arms, shaking your head. Jimin sits on the bench on your porch while Jungkook begs and begs for you to comply with his plans.

"No, never." You mumble and he sighs frustratingly.

"Why not?" He frowns, "unless you're already dating someone else?"

You chuckle, shaking your head. While reaching up to ruffle Jungkook's brown mop of hair, you sigh.

"It's complicated."
